Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ has been a hit with fans, with over a million players living out their very own Star Wars™ saga. In this new video, actual players discuss their experiences in the game and talk about their first time grouping with friends to take on some of the many challenging encounters in the game.

In our new series of “Quick Start Guides,” Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ Social Media Coordinator Eric Musco helps new players to better understand certain aspects of the game. The first installment in this series, “Begin Your Journey,” will guide players through the process of creating your first characters.

Kaon, a small world in the Tion Hegemony, is under siege. An outbreak of the Rakghoul plague has killed countless citizens while turning others into twisted monsters. In the midst of this chaos a small group of survivors have been able to fend off the Rakghouls, but their time is running out. Watch as a Republic assault team makes their way through Kaon, fighting waves of Rakghouls to find the survivors and learn the cause of the outbreak.

In the third entry in this series, writers and developers discuss the cunning precision of the Imperial Agent, and the Force mastery of the Jedi Consular.

The Jedi Consular is both a revered ally to the Republic and a dangerous adversary to the Empire. Their ability to revive fallen allies in combat and to manipulate the Force to remain hidden from their enemies makes them an invaluable asset. Get a small glimpse of the many paths of advancement for this powerful Force-wielding class.
