We are now in phase 4 of rolling out 8.0 content on the Public Test Server (PTS)! Players can now get their hands on the following content: 

• Venture: Classic for Jedi Knight and Imperial Agent
• The second boss of the Children of Nul Operation
• Class Balances for Scoundrel, Assassin/Shadow 

Venture: Classic

The first of the two new Ventures is now available for Classic Jedi Knight and Agent Origin Stories! Venture: Classic is intended to invoke the feeling of SWTOR when it initially launched 15 years ago, while providing more challenging gameplay for players to experience. 

Through character create, players will be given the option to create a Venture specific character that will be locked into a chosen difficulty: 

• Classic = Veteran Difficulty
• Expert = Master Difficulty (available at a later time) 

In order to make progress along the Venture, players will need to complete specific objectives. While playing as a Venture character, unique enemies, loot, consumables, and Venture currency will be available to assist and enhance your journey.  

Examples of these are: 

• New powerful grenades
• Challenges that, if completed, give you powerful temporary buffs
• Maps that, once activated, take you to a Ventures-specific enemy that will drop unique loot
• Limited-use items that give you access to Ventures-only Quick Travel points and speed boosts
• And more to be discovered…

Force Beast Boss

When players hop into the PTS, they will see that the phase gate on Odessen will also take them to the second boss of the Children of Nul Operation. Similarly to when the Nul Acolyte boss was released, there will be a droid available in the boss room that will allow players to make balance adjustments as needed. 

As always, VODs and recordings of attempts and boss takedowns will be very welcome. 

Other 

• Class Balances for Scoundrel and Assassin/Shadow will also be available to check out the PTS. 
• Alongside the above content, we have also released an updated cost breakdown for Legacy Perks.
