Happy 13 years with Star Wars: The Old Republic! Much has been accomplished this year and we are happy to see players enjoying Game Update 7.6 “Galactic Threads”. Let’s take a look at what’s happened in 2024 so far!

Dynamic Encounters
PvP Season 7 "Path to Mastery"
PvP Season 7 "Path to Mastery" is coming with the launch of Game Update 7.6! Below are general changes that players will see once the new season begins:
- Players can group up with 4 players max (down from 8)
- Set Bonus effects on the level 75 Spoils of War gear are disabled
The season will run for 16 weeks!
SWTOR’s Mac Launcher Testing is Moving to Open Beta!
Thank you for your feedback around the Mac launcher technical test. We wanted to let you all know that we feel comfortable in releasing the Mac launcher as an open beta test in the coming weeks! This will be available to anyone who would like to check out SWTOR on their Mac machines provided that they meet the minimum requirements.

Active Subscribers will be getting a new ride beginning 7.6
SWTOR’s first ever companion and mini pet mount will be coming in Game Update 7.6! As a thank you to our most active players, The Meirm Cicada Mount will be free to players who are Subscribers between November 29, 2024 and January 4, 2025.
The Meirm Cicada mount has both companion AND mini pet functionality, so players are able to enjoy their galactic road trips with a full squad. However, due to size limitations of the passenger seat, keep in mind that some companions like B3-S1 won’t fit.
The Master the Fight: Starbolt Edition bundle is now available!
Continue your journey with one of 8 origin stories, and follow the path of the Light Side or the Dark Side of the Force. Wield a blaster or swing a lightsaber, fight under the banner of the Galactic Republic or the Sith Empire and experience hours worth of voiced, cinematic storytelling. Build or destroy relationships with compelling characters as you make choices that determine the fate of enemies and allies alike.
