The ‘Onslaught’ Expansion brings a lot of changes to the current gearing system, including new Set Bonuses, a new type of gear called Tactical items, a new supplementary stat system called Amplifiers, and more! While we’ve showcased how Set Bonuses and Tacticals function in a series of articles, we wanted to take this opportunity to explain the finer details of how Amplifiers work.

In December, Game Update 5.10 ‘Jedi Under Siege’ went live, where players can decide the fate of the Jedi hidden away on Ossus. We sat down with Charles Boyd, the Creative Director for Star Wars: The Old Republic, who is responsible for overseeing the game’s design and narrative, to talk about this update.
