Operations Are...

Operations in Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ are large-scale multi-group missions where you will join your Republic or Imperial allies to confront the most dangerous threats in the galaxy. Each story-driven Operation is available to both factions and is designed to challenge groups of either eight or sixteen players to use their skills, wits, and teamwork to ensure that they successfully complete the mission while still being accessible to newcomers to the genre.

The Eternity Vault is just one of the Operations in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Both the Republic and the Empire have their own reasons for sending players into the Eternity Vault, and each side has a unique and compelling story surrounding the mission. Once inside, you and your group will have to work together to solve puzzles and confront some of the most powerful enemies in the galaxy. Your heroics will not go unrewarded; Operations often contain powerful weapons, armor, and other items.

You’ll undoubtedly want to experience every part of the Operation, but don’t feel like you have to explore every nook and cranny on your first playthrough. Since Operations are repeatable, you and your friends can go back and replay any of them at any time. Each Operation will also have variable difficulty settings, meaning that even after you’ve mastered it, you can choose to increase the difficulty level for a greater challenge.

As the walkthrough video demonstrates, each Operation will have several stages that call for unique strategies and challenges that will call on you and your allies to utilize every ability to survive.

Please note, that even though the Eternity Vault is featured prominently here, it is not the only high-level Operation for you to experience in Star Wars: The Old Republic. More will be revealed...
