How do i get in the test game

This cinematic trailer is easily one of the best I've ever seen. But I'm a bit confused with the ending. Did that sexy a$$ Jedi Consular kill Darth Malgus? According to the summary below the video he continues with his "surprise attacks" against the Republic but that sure as hell looked like a killing blow to me.

The speed in witch jedi and sith move is almost beond words.

The Republic Sovereignty is one of those that has Risen, and we need new Heroes to join us.

You may be a Young Jedi, but you will be trained at our Academy or perhaps you'll be taken by a Master. Who knows, you may be selected for a Special Postion.

As a Trooper, you'll join our Armies and assist our Jedi in the Future Battles to come, but you won't be alone, you won't be untrained. Many of you will have the same goal...Peace...

As a Smuggler, you will do whatever means to make a Mission a little bit easier with infiltration and such. If your good, you'll get yourself a Girl.

In the Sovereignty we have Divisions which you will be put into such as the Trooper Division, Honor Guards, the most elite of our Armies will be put there.

OK--I have litterally watched this damn video 20 time since they released it. Why aren't these people just making full length star wars animes. That 5min trailer is more entertaining to me than all the Lucas films combined...Uh-OH. can say that on a site partnered with Lucasarts... Oh well, it's the truth--You know it, and I know it.

Yeah it's a friggin awesome trailer but it is definitely not better than the entire Star Wars saga COMBINED. Plus it's much easier to make a 5 minute video incredibly entertaining and action-packed compared to 2 and a half hours.

Although i wouldnt say they were better than the movies i would say that at least half of the people that will join the game have seen it at least like 10 times, hey are AMAZINGLY AWESOME

the main trooper looks too much like a clone - its not his armour its his face - he looks exactly like the clones from the movies....

No it isn't, although he has some resemblies, we can see that his head is wider, as his jaw is too, there are other differences that u can spot, but i'm not just gonna tell you all.

theyre actualy mandalorians if im not mistaken. hints their resemblance to boba fet and jango who are decendants. they arent really mercs per say. hmmmmm the only thing im sad about is the missed story line seeing as how kotor left us hanging but i guess the mmo aspect of it will make up for it. do u think it will really compete against cata for world of warcraft though? prolly not.

I have Star Wars the Fore Unleashed video game for XBOX 360. Its cool n all but this is SICK!!!! . IDEA ALRT!! imagine if there was a class where you could be a Sith stalker!!
you would have humanoid tech in your flesh as you bones and FREDDY KROGER CLAWS!!!! oh and a helmet to breath in. Its kinda like Darth Vader but DEMENTED!!! id say it could be half sith warrior and half sith inquisitor!!

Malgus is still alive, this is before the Sacking of Coruscant, which was when Malgus lead the attack on the Jedi Temple.

BTW, I didn't realise you were recruiting for the Empire so I apologise to a fellow Sith. It's just these Jedi are fools beyond belief. And their pet troopers (ha!): I laugh at you all.

Recruit somewhere else. When reading comments about a cinematic trailer, I wish not to be plagued by your incessant guild advertising.

Otherwise great video. I think they should make some more. Perhaps a big battle between Jedi and Sith with both side evenly matched and a sudden bounty hunter victory.
(not that I really like bounty hunters but Jedi and Sith each have their own victory cinematics)

Sorry to burst your bubble, but these soldiers are not clones. They are normal humans. The republic did not use clones until the Clone Wars (hence the name) which was started in the year 22 BBY. This game takes place in 3,653 BBY (I think, not quite sure). As you can see big difference.

LucasArts has confirmed yesterday's speculation that Star Wars MMO, The Old Republic is aiming for release in Spring 2011. Hopefull release date of January 13, 2011.
