The Battle of Alderaan. The Republic's gravest hour. Recently promoted to Darth, Malgus launches the first of many surprise attacks that would become his trademark during the Great War, perfectly timing the assault with a feint that pulls the Republic fleet light-years away. Thousands of assault droids and hundreds of Sith set the heart of the Republic ablaze, and Alderaan's few defenders are swept away with ease.
Unknown to Darth Malgus, small groups of Republic Troopers are stationed on Alderaan, some recovering from wounds, others are awaiting orders. As these brave soldiers take to the forests and mountains to fight a guerilla campaign against Malgus's forces, the Republic fleet rushes back to repel the invasion. With time running out and Alderaan's capitol threatened, it falls to Havoc Squad, the elite Republic Special Forces unit, to coordinate one last desperate stand against Malgus' vastly superior numbers.

I don't know what the trooper general was thinking - charging a sith with only a knife against his lightsaber. Loved seeing the troopers handing the sith fighters there butts though (the hip judo throw was sweet) Anyone else finding themselves wanting to roll an additional class every other day? Alliance all the way! |

the trailer is awesome but it stinks too. a jedi i have never seen before in my life defeated malgus and his mates. if she could do the fore shield to block malgus's saber why couldnt malgus just block her blue thingy. bioware this time you made the sith look weaker than the jedi. :( |

Wow. This is amazing.. i am a sith at heart but this trooper is fricken AWESOME! He is so tough! And that jedi gal just did something that was so cool, she blocked Malgus' Lightsaber with her hands, destroying the blade! WOW! The force rocks. I had to watch the sith victory over and over to calm myself down, cradling myself saying "everything is okay.. okay.. okay.." |

This cinematic trailer is easily one of the best I've ever seen. But I'm a bit confused with the ending. Did that sexy a$$ Jedi Consular kill Darth Malgus? According to the summary below the video he continues with his "surprise attacks" against the Republic but that sure as hell looked like a killing blow to me. |

He's in the "Deceived" trailer which takes place AFTER this video. Malgus is just a badass...you saw what he went through in this video! He's been blown up like 2 or 3 times by the trooper, etc, etc...can't keep a 'good' sith down! |

The Sith have Returned, Heroes have Fallen...But many shall rise... The Republic Sovereignty is one of those that has Risen, and we need new Heroes to join us. You may be a Young Jedi, but you will be trained at our Academy or perhaps you'll be taken by a Master. Who knows, you may be selected for a Special Postion. As a Trooper, you'll join our Armies and assist our Jedi in the Future Battles to come, but you won't be alone, you won't be untrained. Many of you will have the same goal...Peace... As a Smuggler, you will do whatever means to make a Mission a little bit easier with infiltration and such. If your good, you'll get yourself a Girl. In the Sovereignty we have Divisions which you will be put into such as the Trooper Division, Honor Guards, the most elite of our Armies will be put there. OK--I have litterally watched this damn video 20 time since they released it. Why aren't these people just making full length star wars animes. That 5min trailer is more entertaining to me than all the Lucas films combined...Uh-OH. can say that on a site partnered with Lucasarts... Oh well, it's the truth--You know it, and I know it. |
