Ensure you are on the PTS server by following the steps here. Please note that all PTS characters have been deleted in order to ensure 7.0 compatibility. Character copy (from live servers) will not be available until later phases of testing. Create a new Sniper or Operative Walk outside of the cantina and you will see the PTS Fleet Transport Droid (-441, 277)Speak to the droid, and select yes to travel to the Fleet.Head up to the main Fleet levelGo to the Combat section and then to the Agent subsection (4803,4536)Talk to the CD-3 Combat Specializer DroidPress K to select your Discipline and go through selecting your abilities/passives from the Ability Tree. (This is a first look into the new UI so please note the WIP markers)Talk to all of the vendors to gear your characterTalk to the Onderon Dreams: Travel Agent Droid to travel to OnderonHead to the Onderon Mission Board (-725, -291). NOTE: Speeder Piloting Level 3 is granted through this terminal.Because you may not have a ship, there a droid next to the Onderon Mission Board that will teleport you back to the Fleet Please let us know if you experience any issues. What we would like you to test out: Head to Onderon and play some dailies to see how the new Sniper and Operative rotations feel. We would love to read feedback from your experience that answers questions such as “What makes this class unique to me?” and “Do the abilities available make this experience feel like I am playing a Sniper or Operative?” Your feedback will help us determine if we are on the correct path to achieving our goals of making the class feel less encumbered and customization more concise. Yes, go to local disk -> users -> user -> appdata -> local -> SWTOR -> swtor -> settings and copy the GUIProfiles and Keybindings settings. LordCamTheGreat Posted August 25, 2021 Share Posted August 25, 2021 Just want to comment that it took me 3 attempts making an operative for anything to show within the combat proficiencies window. Saw everything on sniper on the first attempt. For both sniper and operative, I didn't initially have all of my abilities - I was missing covered escape on the sniper and corrosive dart on the operative, which meant I couldn't test lethality at all until today. The vehicles tab also did not appear under the ability list tab. After 10 mins or so of playing the sniper and switching disciplines a bunch, covered escape appeared - refreshing the ui and relogging didn't help, it just happened on its own from what I could tell. The vehicle tab also reappared. Similarly with operative, last night I didn't have the ability but when I logged on this morning I did. The vehicle tab still has not appeared. Sarova Posted August 25, 2021 Share Posted August 25, 2021 (edited) The droid that supposed to be by the Onderon Mission Board to return you to the fleet is missing! Vehicles etc do not immediately show in the drop down list in abilities. You have to relog to make them appear.
