I know that this question has been asked a thousand times already through the years and I read the forum and Reddit posts on the subject but still can't decide. I have 2 sorcerers and an assassin as well as a sage and a shadow. I love both class stories (maybe the Consular story a bit more) but prefer the imperial esthetics and lightning visual effects on the force ones. I really need some help deciding between the two.

If you already have created and played the classes, would choosing one as a "Main" make a difference? The "Main" thing is anyway limited to our own attitude towards a character (it is our go-to character) rather than the game recognizing it as a "Main" and making it special somehow.

Depending on your Disciplines, the Sorcerer and Sage can even share the same gear set, so you can switch between them as you like.
