You could always do what I did. I modded out some agent gear to augment pieces of the PvE set I liked, results in my opinion have been great.

When I had my sentinel, I would always take smuggler gear and re-mod. I definitely plan on trying IA gear on my Marauder!!

You know, from day one I have drooled over the simple, überkwl black Sith robes, that are so soothingly familiar from the SW movie saga, for my Marauder! I do realize they would only be status objects, ofc, since they just can't compare with the defensive properties of REAL armors, but just consider events like guild meetings, visits to the lower level planets etc...

I just can't get over the fact that as simple and as iconic as the Sith robes are, we haven't been given the option to have them in the game :( Dunno if any1 else has been tortured by the same thing, but indd, here's a little something for u guys to rest your eyes upon:

 we should be able to use heavy armors for marauders/sentinel

Well lol bud c'mon this is non-sense.. so i wanna do dps like a marauders/sentinel as a immortal juggernaut or maybe some bounty hunters will wanna use lightsaber after your request.

Anyways, let's back to the topic.

First please do not copy huge shoulders from WoW or from any another games. We do not need huge shoulders,

Second we are mystic and dark warriors not another droid / human like androids. So we dont need mechanical armors. Tbh I'm not talking about life support in armor and even we are not injured and don't need life support like Anakin Skywalker, at least most of us.

And last one i wanna repeat myself... We wanna be iconic with in armor but again not with huge shoulders and not with android like mechanical life support.

I agree! When I saw the Jedi and their belt-over-cloak look I was already a bit disappointed, and the short sleeve cut of the Sith cloaks is really quite frustrating. ^^ Personally I don't care about practicality or seeing my armbands/gloves/etc - I would love long sleeves.

I do like the biomechanical style of Sith gear but at the same time I'd have loved to have a simple black kimono-type robe like most of you are saying. Then again when you see the trouble games generally have with animating cloaks ... As soon as it's long and billowy it starts cutting through the character or getting stuck or bugging. That's probably why we can't have overly long hair or long dreadlocks, or even trailing sleeves; perhaps it's a b*tch to animate? I don't know.

As for what I' d like to see - WHERE'S ALL THE FUR?

http://gameofthrones.wikia.com/wiki/Robb_Stark

I like to see my pure-blood Marauder as an aristocratic bastard with just enough compassion to appear not to care if his choices aid others (he's Light-side). So, having a British accent and being pure-blood, I'd love to see a bit of fur around the shoulders. Also, since we do travel a lot, fur adds that extra "traveller/pilgrim" look. It might look a little Medieval but, well, the Jedi robe does look like traditional Japanese clothing so hell.

Now I know that doesn't really fit with the whole "murderer" look but still, as someone said above, there's all the cut scenes and diplomatic things and meetings to think of. :D

Otherwise:

Sorry to be Pottery on you all, but, either Snape looks like a Sith or the Sith have something on Snape. :D Billowy sleeves and a Tudor-ish button-up style.. perfect!

All in all, add sci-fi mechanics to a more medieval look and I'll be satisfied. And, more billowy elements please. :)

I think simplicity is the key here... I don't want to see the current Christmas tree Halloween type looking armor that is supposed to make you stand out by the number of tentacles that are sticking out of your head piece. Simple black robe with a hood speaks dark side to me much more... Same goes of the light side, actually I would think even more considering what the light side stands for...

Armor with effects like black smoke coming off of it would be cool... Something to make us just look that much more BA and sinister.

Please disregard this, it's a terrible idea.

Go back to playing World of Warcraft if you want your character to be continously on fire.

ROFLMAO.

I opened this link at work and just bust out laughing. LMAO.

I am surprised nobody likes the robot look. I have no clue what they were thinking when coming up with gear designs. I swear when I see a marauder wearing endgame gear, I just expect them to transform into a motorcycle or jet. LMAO

I hate all of these very strongly. Except some of those pics have Darth Vader in them, and my SW already has awesome armor that looks like Vader's awesome armor.

I'd much prefer something like the armor designs in E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy

DANG 2 of those images would be AWESOME BH gear

What kind of stuns me:

There ARE lots and lots of armors IN GAME that would work perfectly. A nice place between the cloth wearing assasins and sorcerers and the heavy duty juggernaughts. LOTS. Every damn NPC is looking like a not-quite-juggernaught but definately not light-armor! GAH!

There are a bunch of orange sets in the game I really like as well. My problem is the 40k+ to move a single mod from 1 piece of armor to the other =(

I am not sure when BW suddenly decided we are all VERY wealthy in the game but with the legacy stuff AND the cost of extracting a mod, they seem to have the idea we all have millions of creds =(

Read most of the posts in this thread and didn't see a suggestion as follows...

One thing that had been done in some game i played (cant remember the game) that was awesome was the gear.

You actually had twin slots for each item. So..you had 2 belt slots. One had an Orange Background and one had a Green background. Basically the orange slot was the piece that gave you your bonuses and such. The green slot was what was DISPLAYED on your character and the stats on that item were completely ignored. If you didn't have an item in the green slot, the orange slot item was displayed.

This basically let you go and put your GOOD endgame gear in the orange slots of your character. Then you could put WHATEVER you wanted in the green slots (REGARDLESS of actually being able to wear it normally. IE: Light Armor wearer with Heavy Armor). Now if the game didnt have some OTHER way of denoting character classes this might be an issue, but since we have the new lil tags..that's not an issue.

This would immediately open up a whole world of customization for us to mess with. We wouldnt need to worry about mods in the 'green/appearance' gear. And this would mean that the devs wouldnt need to worry about designing new armor.

Dont know how hard it would be to design the orange/green system though in this game but yeh. That'd be a great start to further customization.
