  1. The issue with premades is that as the average player skill deteriorates to unheard of levels having 4 average pvpers together on the same team would be broken.
  2. Yeah when I came back I was surprised how nowadays everybody has roots/slows.
  3. Is it just me or does no side quest npc ever make any class specific comment for smugglers? NPCs/questgivers acknowledge every class but the smuggler. On my other toons they always say something extra for each class (both jedi and sith classes are lumped together though). Like "Thank god the jedi is here...... We have a job for you", "It's an honor to meet Havoc squad.... We have a job for you". For smuggler it's just "We have a job for you".
  4. I mean at this point with the pvp playerbase skill level at new lows I'm just happy if people know how to use cc
  5. You'd be surprised at how often this happens. Very few people actually play huttball instead of dming in mid and so it just comes down to a few players that care. As an op main, I've had 6-0 wins where I didn't even die and literally nobody but me touched the huttball. I get it> kite the 0-2 players that actually try> score> get it> kite the 0-2 players that actually try> score and so on. I love when I'm almost in the end zone and enemy players respawn and just run right past me, not even a token attempt to stop it.
  6. The population isn't exactly in a good spot, you can't ban them simply because any pop reduction in any aspect of the game would be crippling.
  7. The turnover is high enough that the average in skill has gone in the toilet compared to even a few years ago. It's really not surprising that people struggle with even the little mechanics in huttball.
  8. Yeah it's gotten pretty ridiculous. While some classes have root breaks with low cd others don't, not to mention almost constant slows. After coming back after a long hiatus it's sad to see the pace of gameplay has somehow managed to slow down even further.
  9. Yeah I don't think it's possible to differentiate enough. Would be nice though, connection stability leaves a lot to be desired. Never been dc'd on any game even 1/10th the amount that I do on swtor.
  10. As somebody who plays in pvp toggled instances there are way too few people to make much of a difference and a pvp focused expansion wouldn't go well as too few people who end up enjoying it. Further still, with the future of the game in a precarious spot, they really don't have any option besides playing it safe (pve focused).
  11. Ah gotcha, thanks. Saw some people saying that but wasn't 100% sure if it was from a skank tank perspective or just pure tank with decent damage.
  12. Couldn't find all that much updated info about skank tanks for pvp. Used to have a darkness sin with dps gear that I did well with. But that was years ago and I don't know if something changed.
  13. Yes in pvp vanguard/powertech is not in a good spot, if left alone you can do massive amounts of damage but are incredibly squishy. As this has been the case for awhile now, any pvper worth anything will focus you down quite quickly. As far as pvp tanking goes you are behind sin/shadow by alot and a bit behind jugg/guardian. Skill floor is very high.
