  1. I've been playing for a month or so, i710700k, RTX 3080 founders edition, 32gb 3600 mhz RAM, Windows 10, all drivers up to date, etc. I'm experience crashes to desktop periodically throughout my play sessions. I probably crash 2 or 3 times a day which isn't a HUGE deal. These crashes typically occur loading into a new area, if I dismount quickly on loading into a new area or if I skip through dialogue right before a loading screen. My best guess is that this feels like an anti-cheat detecting my quicker load times as some form of exploit? That's how this feels.
  2. Sorry but almost every QOL unlock can be hammered down into trivial territory,. That doesn't make it any less useful.
  3. I would pay any price for a legacy unlock that just gives you all the quik travel locations on all planets.
  4. Yeeaaah, I typically play with gsync off because I like the colors more, but I'll switch it on and see how it handles microstutter. Maybe it'll be worth it.
  5. i7 10700k RTX 3080 32gb ddr4 3200 I'm getting some huge FPS drops whenever an event happens like mounting up in some instances or when I level up, there will be a huge pause in FPS down to 0 for 1 seconds before going back to normal. It's not game breaking but stuff like this happens enough to where it's upsetting the flow of gameplay. Otherwise, I'm more or less capped at 240 fps without any other significant drops. Any advice?
  6. Hey everyone. My friends and I rolled our first characters on POT5 and it's pretty good stuff so far. I'm playing a Juggernaut in PVP but I'm not too fond of my animations are I'm really starting to like the idea of a Guardian or a Shadow for PVP. POT5 seems to be mostly Empire dominated as I've been leveling and I'm wondering if you guys know if it's that one sided at end game for that server or if it's balanced. I'd like to find a server that is active and as close to 50/50 as possible so that I at least have to fight for a win as games like this get boring very quickly if all that happens is a constant steamroll. Any advice for a newer PVPer?
  7. Pro-tip, the only difference between vanilla WOW and vanilla TOR is that one has fully voiced quests so it gives the illusion of feeling different. It's really not at all different.
  8. BUILD IT. Also, anyone that is up to date with the current tech should help me build a PC off newegg for ~$1000
  9. A lot of features from the beta didn't make it into the final build. In most cases, the mods wanted to tweak them around before re-implementing them. This is the case for "Match to Chest" and some other features I've seen. I wouldn't worry too much, I'm sure this is going to be touched upon in upcoming patches.
  10. The key is a random generator to protect your account so that only the person using the key-generator can access it. It's working as it is intended.
  11. Here is a text version with screenshots and datacron stats. I haven't watched the videos, but for those of you that dont want to sift through videos, you might want to check this guide out. Feel free to add this to your original post as well.
  12. Once you boards the shuttle to the space station, you'll find a quest giver that will provide you with the tools necessary to change to your advanced class.
  13. Primary Stats: Each class has a primary stat which is most useful for them. You will always choose gear which has this stat present. Strength - Sith Warrior and Jedi Knight Increases your melee bonus damage and critical strike chance. Additionally increases shield absorption as a Juggernaut/Guardian. Willpower - Sith Inquisitor and Jedi Consular Increases your force bonus damage/healing and critical strike chance as a Sorcerer/Sage. Increases your melee and force bonus damage and critical strike chance as an Assassin/Shadow Aim - Bounty Hunter and Trooper Increases your ranged and tech healing/damage and critical strike chance as an Operative/Scoundrel. Increases your ranged and tech damage as well as your shield absorption as a Powertech/Vanguard. Cunning - Imperial Agent and Smuggler Increases your ranged and tech bonus damage and critical strike chance. Also increases your tech healing as an Operative/Scoundrel. Assuming you are using the primary stat attributed with your class, bonuses are calculated as followed: 1 point = 0.2 damage and/or healing 140 points = 1% critical strike chance Secondary Stats/Ratings Endurance - Increases maximum health and health regeneration. Similar to endurance and stamina in other MMOs. Power - Adds bonus melee/tech/force damage and/or healing. Similar to spell power and attack power in other MMOs. Force/Tech Power - Works like Power, except that it does not increase melee damage; only found on weapons. Similar to spell power and attack power in other MMOs. Accuracy - Reduces the chance for your harmful abilities to be resisted/dodged/etc. Similar to hit/focus in other MMOs. Critical Strike Chance - Increases the chance for your abilities to land a critical strike. Surge Rating - Increases the damage or healing of a critical strike. Alacrity - Reduces the cast/channel time of abilities. Similar to haste in other MMOs. Defense - Increases your parry (melee) and deflect (ranged) chance. Similar to defense in other MMOs. Shield - Increases your chance to absorb damage on an attack using your personal shield generator. Similar to block in other MMOs. Absorption - Increases the amount of damage absorbed by a shielded attack. Similar to block in other MMOs. Armor - Reduces the physical and kinetic damage done to you. Similar to armor in other MMOs. Expertise - Purely a PvP stat. Increases damage and healing against other players, and reduces damage taken from players. Presence - Boosts your companions health, damage, and healing. (Generally only found on short-term food and stims.)
