  1. I am not complaining about rng. I understand how rng works. I started developing text driven games in 1980. I understand how payment systems work. I have been paid as a developer in legitimate cash. The reference to counterfeit bills was an analogy. I would like to see a list of possible rng drops that might come from an upper gear box, a lower gear box or a tech gear box. I would expect the list to actually govern the chances between the possible rng. It seems something is either broken or not well defined. I have since researched into game throttling and I consider this to fall into a similar category. Aggravating subscribers into making microtransactions to alleviate their frustration is simply bad business practice. When I wrote code, I got paid for functioning programming. I got paid per sale, not like this subscription system. I was on the hook to make sure the program was well tested pre-launch, and to iron out any found issues promptly. Pay-for-play leads into a different direction, and we get used to it. The frog in a pot of water analogy applies here. It seems not so in this current gaming environment. Gamers are becoming adapted to sub-par coding as the norm. This has got to stop. Games like Anthem, under development for years, should not have been released in that state and SWTOR seems to be driving subscribers to accept expansions that are similar. I am pointing out what I consider unacceptable programming, programming that I will no longer pay to receive. This is the only game I have ever held a subscription to, being suggested by a programming colleague. He quit some time ago as well. I held out hope. I apologize if these points were not clear in my OP. I sometimes use humor to relieve frustration, rather than terse or expletive language. I would rather dialog than condescend.
  2. It seems no matter which gear I choose I get relics around 95%. Since when have relics been an rng from every one of those categories? I've been playing since 2013 and I stopped as of April 2019. If the software doesn't work as intended and is therefore counterfeit, I feel I should be able to pay with counterfeit bills. Spending $150 per year to be aggravated with sub-par development ends now. Feel free to email me if you ever get things working or to let me know if you're ok with me bouncing a check to cover costs.
  3. They'll work on this soon, I'm sure. Btw, : *Soon.™: Bioware Corp, Inc. All rights reserved. Do not make plans based on "Soon™" as Bioware will not be liable for any misuse, use, or even casual glancing at "Soon.™". Thank you for your patience.
  4. Complicated title, I know. I've completed CoU in storyline and then have been going through it again and again, both in story and veteran in solo mode. The question is, since we now see the masked, robed figure in every instance, instead of the traitor, would a group member that hasn't even passed chapter VIII be adversely affected by doing the FP that I shared with them? What will they see / experience?
  5. I didn't notice that my trees were bound until last night, when I was getting ready to sell my investment, currently valued at 51 mil. Finding that Life Day 2014 still had sell-able trees but this year doesn't, beguiles me. I have been a sub for a while and commit 6 months at a time. Why? I work the game between the described parameters only to be punished in a future I didn't expect and was not presented with an opportunity to avoid. This is not the first time I've felt ripped off. Previously I had spent time and credits buying gifts to increase companion affections to maintain my crafting abilities at their highest rate, only to find in 4.0 I was at 0 again. Last year I didn't take the opportunity to capture sales from Life Day trees. I spent an inordinate amount of time this recently past season farming, obviously with great expectation. I had no interest in having this many trees added to my total decorations, but what choice did I have? The latest round of gtn problems not allowing for sales and/or searches was bad enough. This newest tweak has really pissed me off. No amount of new content can make up for wasted hours and expectations. Do something about this! NOW! This is tantamount to fraud!
  6. I saw this deco in a friends Yavin 4 SH and thought, "I'll buy two from the gtn!" Pricey. I bought one to donate to my guild (Coruscant SH and a FS) and one for my own Coruscant balcony. I dropped one into the guild bank donation box, and opened mine and bought the balcony, prepared to place it on the new, empty balcony....but wait....something that seemed straight forward is impossible!!! Surely they wouldn't make a decoration that can be used by some SH owners and not by others, right? Where was the warning before letting me buy the balcony (or the SH altogether, for that matter) that some decorations would not fit in there, even though there is certainly enough room for them? I mean, I get incessant warnings just modding through every new armor set that this binding action cannot be undone, though I've seen it a thousand times. For that warning I can't even opt-out...and it costs me just two Basic Comms. I should have saved my receipt..... Something has to be done about this!!
