Strongest PVE Class for Solo

Well, as Little Dragon says, go with a stealther if you want the quickest. You can then stealth by lots of enemies.

Beyond that, it doesn't really matter. There's no particular class that's going to be significantly better in PvE. It's more important to play a class you enjoy, and you may need to try several classes before you find the one you like best.

Be aware that stealthing through the story will get you past chapter three at a moderate level disadvantage, doing only the class story missions. You'll finish around level 50 where if you were forced to fight through, you'd be closer to 60. In my playthroughs I had to do planetary missions on hoth and belsavis to catch up and still ended chapter 3 under-leveled. Edited by StockThorax

^ Also whatever class you pick, run as a dps, as it will kill the mobs quicker. Keep you comp as dps too, unless you start having issues, then switch to tank or heals. Two dps' will demolish a mob faster.

It's a bit of a balancing act. Two DPS will kill things faster, but you may need to stop and heal up. So maybe, low level content = 2 DDs; higher level = DD + Healer.

But basically, whatever works for you. 🙂

To the OP, since it has not been mentioned: There are 8 separate stories - one for each class, - almost like 8 separate games; the stories have small overlapping parts and tell the full story (up to the end of class stories) together. Running through with one character (= 1 class) does not completely cover the game.
