I have just got the companion C8-S3C from the Cartel market packs. I am trying to boost his influence and don't want to wast Tech comp gifts on him, it says that Maintenance is a Love. Where do I find them?

If you have Jawa scrap and similar tokens, see the three Jawa vendors on the Fleet, in the Cartel Bazaar section (North elevator on Republic, South elevator on Empire) to buy them. I think it's the "Prototype" vendor, but check the others if I'm wrong.

Rank 5 Maintenance gifts might be obtainable for credits from one of the Companion Gifts vendors in the outer part of the Fleet, for 5K credtis for "blue" / 10K credits for "purple". (I'm not logged into the game right now, so I can't check for you.) It will be the same vendor that sells rank 5 gifts of other types.

They drop sometimes from the opened versions of the locked Alliance crates that drop from Heroics done by level 61+ characters. Open the crates by giving them to the Alliance Specialists (Oggy, Aygo, Hylo, Sana-Rae) in the War Room area of Odessen.

As Steve pointed out... they can be obtained from the Jawa vendors, for jawa junk if you have some.

That said... people are selling them on the GTN all the time. In fact, I constantly shop for them and have many thousands of all three types in inventory, and the same with Delicacies. With jawa junk dropping from Galactic Command Crates, the supply has been almost constant, and the prices have generally settled to some fairly predictable prices as well. The green ones will be the best bang for the credits... but will also take you longer to level up influence with. The blue ones will generally be 4-6 times the price of the greens, and the purples will carry a hefty premium above the blues. If you need/want lots of them, and are not on Harbinger... I would recommend you load up a character with credits and transfer to Harbinger to buy up supplies and then transfer back. You can do that for 180cc round trip.

You need Jawa Junk to buy the gifts. Join a guild who does conquest and reach the personal achievements (15k points) on as many character you can before the event ends. You'll get the rewards on your characters on reset day (Tuesdays).
