Jedidevi Posted February 18, 2022 Share Posted February 18, 2022 I am not sure if any of you feel the same way as I do but I was kind of disapointed about the new hair style choices added in the latest update but don't get me wrong I don't have a problem with dreads but that's just all there is and this really disapoints me I was hoping for some Viking inspired hairstyles added in too or something I know it's not that big of a deal but it still would have been nice to have more variaty of new hairstyles than just dreads hopefully someday they will add in some new hairstyle variants weather it be for free or purchasable in the Cartel Market I'm willing to pay for those hair styles as long as those hairstyles look cool. I ask this because I don't see any new styles, neither in the Appearance Designer kiosks nor in character creation, nor in the CM. I'm pretty sure the SWTOR dreads suck just as much as the afro. orichichan Posted February 20, 2022 Share Posted February 20, 2022 (edited) The new hairstyle variants are these ones: 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52 in character creation for humans and for the Appearance Designer kiosk for humans too. Same "logical" with the other species. They are free, so they are before the ones we can get on the Cartel Market (53, 54, etc). The parting between the knots for example makes the whole style look unfinished. I do hair, so it was obvious what they were going for, but to me it felt like "a beta version" of each new hairstyle. I wish there was a way they could make the cornrows and locks blend into the scalp better, but I'm not a programmer, sooo....IDK. Cornrows don't look like centipedes on people IRL. Personally, I want all sorts of over-the-top theatrical hair. Basic is the antithesis of SW to me, so I want Queen Amidala worthy styles. And longer side cuts. Tau's hair, but with Sith-y head tattoos would be cool in my book. I'll co-sign on nu-viking. Hell, I'll co-sign on mullets, better Afros, etc. even though I wouldn't rock them because the more hairstyles in general, the merrier.
