You could email them (support@swtor.com) but speaking to a person is likely your best best for recovering your account. https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-support They will want to verify your identity. You say that the email address is now defunct but do you remember what it is? Did you set up security questions and do you remember the answers? BTW, everyone, this is why you should always set up your security questions and review them periodically to ensure that you remember the answers. If you have that information they should be able to help you recover your account. The more that you remember the better off you will be. Hopefully you are able to regain access.
