TheRevman
I am experiencing a near game breaking bug and I cannot find a solution. About 25% of the time when I click my right click down and begin to move the camera, for a fraction of a second the camera will freak out which usually results in me facing the completely wrong direction. This bug has caused me to fall off cliffs and die, and in general is a huge issue when trying to tank mobs as I am constantly rotating the camera to observe the battle for adds and stuff. I have spent hours researching this but trying to find a solution and can find nothing but speculation. It seems this issue has been in the game since launch as I have found a thread on these forums dating back to 2011 showcasing the exact same issue. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=62987 Is there something I'm missing? Has anyone discovered a fix for this bug that I have yet to come across? Current setup: Win 10 I7 3770 16gb ram RTX 2070 Game displayed at 1440p 100+fps Razer Naga Trinity mouse. TheWilloughbian
Yeah the camera freak out gets me every once and a while too. Turning my mouse sensitivity down a little seemed to help. I'll have to try the thing with the polling rate. What would be a handy addition to the U.I. is a camera reset hotkey. i.e. press a bound key and the it centers the camera behind the player character. Turning down the polling rate from 1000hz to 500hz fixed this issue for me. THANK YOU!!!! In short, turn down the polling rate on your mouse software.
