SteveTheCynic
Ugh. Updates. I have both the Steam and non-Steam versions installed (four SWTOR accounts, one Steam account, 'nuff said), and... Well... The Steam version finished quietly while I wasn't watching, having started *after* the non-Steam version began. (Er, as I write this, Steam says it finished eight minutes ago.) The non-Steam version is still going.
meddani
i hope this is not becoming something normal we going to get with all the maintence in the future. you're like, a couple of years late with that....it's 95% given this happens, lol
mike_carton
For a supposed set of minor bug fixes, this is a big update. 1 GB or so?!
Unterlord
For a supposed set of minor bug fixes, this is a big update. 1 GB or so?! No, It's 37.2 MB Patch on SWTOR by Steam. Edited May 10, 2021 by Unterlord
SteveTheCynic
No, It's 37.2 MB Patch on SWTOR by Steam. It's about that size on the SWTOR launcher for non-Steam installations, but SWTOR's patcher is glacially slow.

JattaGin
Non-Steam is very old and over, steam is better than non-steam. I use both versions. Non-steam works faster and better for me. Patch size for my versions is around 630 MB. Edit: And now another 1.2 GB. I doubt that the Steam version only needs 37 MB when the old launcher needs almost 2 GB. Daily PO: Rishi Daily Missions was no bugged. When you played non-steam there is bugging. This is funny. I think there are two different shoes. Non-Steam had many bugged yet than Steam had low bugged. I had 37.2MB from Steam, you had 2GB from non-Steam. My Internet is very good by Steam 100 MB/s Edited May 10, 2021 by Unterlord
hillerbees
i hope this is not becoming something normal we going to get with all the maintence in the future. since its happing now more 2 time's lets hope its stay's on that and not become's more but thanks for sharing it its going to take some longer. Would you rather them tell you the patch would take 5 hours to implement and then have it only take 2? They do what they can and its a game at the end of the day - would be worse if they just didn't bother with patches. The world is not perfect.
