GENXPS
Will we see a 64 bit update to the game next year or dx 11? I will like to see dx 12 but I don't see that happening.
MadDutchman
While they have said game modernizations will be coming next year, there is near 0% chance of either of these happening. 64 bit is in the realm of reasonable possibility, but would offer almost 0 benefit to do so DX 11/12 is almost ludicrously unlikely considering the effort involved. Wishful thinking at this point.

Wishful thinking at this point. DX 11 is less unlikely than you think. Consider that Guild Wars 2, which is a long-standing stubbornly DX9 game, will be launching a DX11 version in opt-in Beta later this year. DX12 is more of a stretch, naturally. Miffypiffy
64-bit (only) -If Microsoft stop supporting 32-bit, EA/Bioware will have two options. Comply, or make a funeral for A LOT of programs. Can EA be 'forced by Microsoft' to be pushed into 'pure 64-bit'? Nope. It is as likely as a chilled gin and tonic in Hel. EA don't care. This is only a 'product' that will be shut down one day, with a Thanos-snap. Systems have no soul. EA is a huge system. It is what it is.
