I know there's already one on the CM, but it isn't proper jet black, just a dark grey colour.

 

What baffles me is why? It can't be a technical limitation as a pure black lightsaber exists in the game. The Jedi on Yavin 4 training with the remote droid wields a Black bladed lightsaber.

+1 for this. Maybe it could be a new set of crystals called a Jet Black/White crystal, so we can have BOTH the Black and Dark Gray colors. Edited July 29, 2021 by Jacksoundwave

The Black Crystal is what you are after...as am I. Reserved for NPC's and never released for the public. 7.0 would be a great opportunity for that!

where is this jedi you speak of? I do not recall seeing a black lightsaber anywhere.

The reason there isn't one on the CM is because there is already one that exists in game in Ranked rewards.

It appears that Jedi on Yavin no linger has the Black Color Crystal, which is upsetting.

However, Master Zunor, the Revanite commander located in the Massasi Village has two of them.

I would really like to see this Black Color Crystal released on the Cartel Market, like the White Color Crystals. It doesn't seem to need too much effort to create, and it would probably make a handsome profit. Win-win!

However, I do hope that at the same time, they do not remove the White-Black Color Crystal. As said, it appears to be more gray, so it would be nice to have separate Black Crystals, White Crystals, and Gray/White-Black crystals all up on the Cartel Market. Plus, they do something similar with the Turquoise and Teal Guardian Crystals, so no need to remove what is already up, just add a an additional set of items.
