Resolve Bar and Roots and Slow

it makes no sense that roots slows and the like do not impact the resolve bar... now there is no where near the amount of mobility cause they hardly if at all effect resolve bar being increased. They bar also should stay resolved for longer and have higher amounts for hard stuns and soft stuns by proportion.

 

What is going on now is people cannot even carry the ball 40 meters and with pocket heals its nothing but stationary melee advantaged fighting...

 

and please for those who comment stick to the topic being addressed and not the person understanding of how it works I can see it unfolding on the screen in this manner....

the problem is less about resolve and just the sheer amount of roots and slows in the game.

 

sorc root on knockback should not be automatic. it should be a utility. or choice.

 

this also may be true.... yes and this goes to show they always give force users and melee better utilities and ablities over ranged tech which they spit on every style balancing....

It would seem that no one wants to give credence to this topic... however, its a very note worthy topic to consider...

 

Roots, slows, and all manner of movement impairing effects should be causing resolve bar increases in all warzones

 

Additionally, there needs to be better defensives when being stunned since the new manner of cheese is to chain stun with team members...

 

Losing your entire health without being able to complete a single ability is seriously flawed at best!

 

More need to realize this has become an issues post 7.0.1a

any reduction in the roots and slows would have to be accompanied by an equal reduction in the mobility.

 

then that is not balancing that is equalizing the same thing... just with different methods sorry but that makes no sense whatsoever, resolve bar should increase maybe not as much and the over time dots may not affect the resolve but but the initial hit of a slow or dot should... and each class needs a point or some immunity ability they can use to counter the absolute stale mobility that exists today in warzones...

The problem is that slows/roots dont necessarily counter the insane mobility. Most movement enhancing abilities also have cleanses/immunity. Hydro, Force Speed, Countermeasures, Entrench, predation... etc. This means players are either moving at +100% speed, or -100% speed. But there is no in between. The insane roots/slows is not addressing the insane mobility.

At this point they just need to nerf both the slows/roots and mobility.
