Sometimes this indeed happens on its own, for instance after completing certain missions. Then the companion portrait menu to the lower left completely disappears. Question: Is there some way (maybe at least a bug you can use) to disable that menu manually? Note: I'm NOT talking about the feature where you can send away your companion TEMPORARILY by right-clicking on his portrait. If you first send away your companion and then deactivate his/her menu bar, the companion won't reappear again!
