Still Broken!!!

I used the Modified Armor Cell and Modified Weapons Cell for Walkers. Using these cells did not help. Please fix this issue, once and for all.

Thank you.

Did you use the stump ability on them? Worked for me when I played it couple of days ago (didn't even use the modified armor cell and weapon cell stuff)

But in general I agree Iokath enemies (not just the walkers, but especially them) are way too OP in many cases and clearly not working as intended.

its true its unfair more.

but there is 1 way to beat then all 3 and that is using stump ability in the center off all 3 and in the mean time the stump ability is cooling down use on 1 off then the normal gun and after that you can use stump ability again and thats the only way more and it works also.

I just reached the three sentinals with my lvl 71 sorcerer and they are, I'm quite sure, literally unbeatable. Each has 500.000 hp, your crappy *** walker does maybe 50k damage on its best attack.

Even when I evade their ridiculesly powerful AOE missile volley at the beginning (which oneshots me if they all hit), they just start blasting away and kill me in 10 - 20 seconds. Best I managed to do was get one down to ~50% health.

You have no way to heal in that fight, the walker is slow and clumsy, your attacks are basically useless and you have no way to defend or interrupt their attacks. Even looked up tips on how to fight them, stomping does jack ****, most of their attacks are auto hit, the walkers guns almost do no damage...

Freaking awesome.

Cancelling my subscription as I came back for the new expansion, but considering that I'm effectively locked out because of these op bosses, there seems to really not be any reason to waste further money on this game.

you know you dont have to do ops what so ever right

Like some have suggested, stand in the middle and stomp all three down. I tried all kinds of other ways with this and failed. The middle stomp worked for me.

I used this as well as switching to "weapons fire" as soon as it was available as "filler".

Aside from that "stomp" as much as possible.

As I described here in August of 2020, the problem isn't so much the health or armor of the player-controlled walker as much as the damage output. When it takes more than one blaster bolt from a walker, supposedly enhanced with the latest and greatest Iokath weaponry, to blow up a (weak) Power Cell at the enemy base on the way to the Sentinels, that's a problem. As I outlined in that post, I got the third Sentinel droid down to 15% before I was defeated, and that was using a weapon cell buff item. If the damage output was increased I believe the encounter would be more straightforward.

I just think giving specific recommendations to the development team has far more chance of success than vague, "It's broken, please fix!"

OMG! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I was playing my Sith Sorcerer and kept dying. I managed to kill one, twice, before dying and respawn getting nowhere. With my Jedi Knight, Consular, and Sith Warrior I had trouble but not this bad. I would kill one, die, kill the second, die, kill the third, but this time was complete failure. I quit the game, came here, and saw the advice. IT WORKED! I stayed in the middle, Stomp, Stomp, Stomp, and while Stomp recharged I fired the #1 missile. I killed all three at once, and while low on health I didn't die at all!

I just finished that fight, it’s still a big problem, but this method helped. Just spam stomp in the center, charge the rockets when you get a chance and when one of them is less than 1/4 health fire the heat seakers, should kill one and make the last two a few shots dead.

Like others said, stand in the middle and spam stomp. Until I learned that trick, I was ready to ragequit.

Yep, you need to get on-top of them and stomp away. You’ll usually still die, but as long as you can kill one or two before you die, you can finish off the last one after you respawn.

Still, the whole situation is pretty ridiculous and shows lazy development on the part Bioware.

I think once I learned the trick and was running alts through with high gear level, they went down fast. Of course I have 90Mbps internet, so that could be a factor. It was hard with lower gear I think

07-28-2021 75 Commando. I cant get the rep items, because Im in the story and its my first run through Iokath (Skipped it in the past due to this fight). Im going to try the in the middle stomp, but that shouldnt be how to do this fight, especially on Story! Veteran, maybe, but ffs, this fight isnt anywhere CLOSE to fun.

So standing in the middle worked. But jesus is it boring as hell.
