COOLak Posted October 7, 2021 Share Posted October 7, 2021 Damn, I thought it was just me, it just kept looping on downloading Main Assets 1, so I decided to uninstall the whole game and re-download it from scratch, but the problem remained, and now I will have to download the whole game again even after this issue will get fixed. Just brilliant! And that's happening to me exactly when I decided to return for the first time since 2013 AND paid for 6 months subscription! Ah so my reward for not giving steam YOUR money is I get to watch the main asset 1 get downloaded twice, before I uninstalled and try from the beginning. Wonder if that will screw the pooch as well. I just did the same, and now basically we're stuck at Main Assets 1 loop BEFORE being able to download all other assets, so now we have to wait until it gets fixed AND re-download the whole remaining game afterwards. Then maybe just maybe, they might learn to put MORE effort, into TESTING EVERYTHING, before they just distribute it willy-nilly, then there wouldn't be all these issues. i mean now I'm told not to download anything but.....that means no playing swtor for however long it takes BW to figure it pot. if this takes more than a couple of hours then I'm goanna require a free month of sub for reimbursement, considering if you don't patch then you cant play. so now that i have stopped it during a patch i have to HOPE that i didn't mess up my file system which in-turn messes with my PC. and i Might just un-sub if thats the case I', already at the point where i am thinking of quitting due to all the BS issues lately. How do we NOT download the patch because the launcher has automatically started the process, so even if we abort/pause we are stuck with a launcher that is trying to patch our install! Where is the option to rollback the code to what's already installed on our PCs and was working fine just moments before your bug kicked in?
