Just curious as to how long a "Galactic Season" actually is? Haven't been able to find any info on an end date for season 1 ...

Now that we know how to earn Galactic Season Points, let's talk about the current numbers associated with each avenue, how many points you need per Reward Level, and how long we plan for Season 1: The Stranger From Kubindi to last! As always, the following values are subject to change.

Each Reward Level will require 8 Galactic Season Points to obtain, for a total of 800 Galactic Season Points over the course of the Season. If you log in and do a daily every day, and a weekly every week, you'll get 41 points per week (8 login + 12 weekly + 7 × 3 daily = 41), which will reach level 100 in week 20. 20 weeks is the bare minimum I would expect the season to last, given the "five months' estimate given above. So, probably, unless the season is shorter than expected.

If you are really dedicated, it can be done in about 2 1/2 months as a sub

 

Max gain is 2 weeklies + 14 dailies + login, so 74 points per week.

 

In theory you could have the whole thing complete during the 11th week

 

Free to play/preferred on the other hand can earn 16 + 28 + 4 = 48 points per week, meaning you could have it complete in your 17th week.

 

So to complete this for F2P/Pref has to be very dedicated without paying CC/creds. Subs, only about half dedicated.

 

Or to put it another way, assuming the "about 5 months" turns out to be exactly 20 weeks, you need to earn on average 40 points per week. Though I'd bet this will actually work out to be closer to 21 or 22 weeks personally, to minimize the inevitable complaining.
