That they would just scrap the changes and just give us the new story, and implement the rest later.

No one is happy with it, t all, the only thing im looking forward to is the loadouts and secondary skill sets, but then i think oh yeah im losing a ton of skill i really dont want to lose.

making us choose between things like a hard stun or a DCD is beyond a bad idea. How is that even a thing?

I doubt this will happen, but if i had my way, just drop the story and keep working on the rest.

No one is happy with it,.

While I've yet to read anyone say anything positive about 7.0 (loadout exempted) the misery that we all see as 7.0 has been sold to Management as needed change. Management has sold it to upper Management as needed change. And so forth. Did someone say bonus for when the change is implemented ?

Anyone now speaking against the 'change' is questioning Management. Who dares do that, in socialist USA

Sarcasm aside, its called listening to the customers.

No one wants to dual specs more than i do, but so much of hat is coming with that is problematic.

Thats before we even get to whether or not its actually fully complete.

What would be worse, another delay, or my suggestion? Would anyone really mind as long as we got the content?

What i would like presently : story, fp, new cosmetics (hairs, beard etc or

more even :

- correction of the bugs hairs we paid so long ago from the market and we can not use)

- correction of all the clippings (10 years of bugs, that would have been an achievement from Bioware)

- New mounts, pets, not a copy of the copy of the copy but different colors : imagination, creativity

- new race

- new stronghold with more liberty to build and create

- equilibrate the actual combat before changing it like they want

- give some more love to pvp for our friends pvpers

- and while doing all this DO NOT TOUCH THE SETS GEAR. Please give us a break with this stupid gear change.

- review some old area, change some graphics, there is so much to do before crashing the game as you do now

As much as we were sold what we're getting here, so was the company that is funding swtor. EA is probably generally not happy with Bioware lately. And while the guy saying "we're taking what we did for 6.0 and redoing all of it for 7.0" can obfuscate that a thousand different ways, someone saying to upper managers/investors "we're going to throw out everything we've worked on for the last year except for the story/content" might have some in depth explaining to do that could easily go the wrong way.

You have a point there, though if they deliver this expansion mostly as is and it ends up being as much of a stinker as the feedback would imply and causes people to leave in droves, I can't see that being any easier to explain.

I was excited for new levels because of a new crafting tier.

We're not even getting a new crafting tier.

At this point the only thing I'm really interested in is the story and GS2, neither of those require the other "upgrades" coming with 7.0.

I won't deny that I was a good little hamster, and completed GS1. That's after completing a few seasons in Destiny 2 - which is where I presume BW "borrowed" this hamster wheel idea from.

But to do it again, now. Knowing what I do after wasting so much time on the PTS. Not sure :(

I am more than disappointed that Bioware seems to be completely ignoring what their players are saying. To say that there are interfaces and items that live on the developers' servers but not testlive (so no chance to stress test these interfaces), to post that they are excited about the updates without comment to what we the players are saying/warning them about is just stunning.

I enjoy SWTOR and I WAS looking forward to a game update, but if you fail to listen to your customers and you give them something they don't want, your customers will leave you. That is simple. In my guild, the majority of members have already abandoned the game/cancelled their subscriptions or not renewed. Bioware, your customers are already telling you that you are proceeding down a pathway that is likely to have an enormous negative impact on the game. If 7.0 rolls out as it is set in PTS, and players are forced to play you want them to play, not the way they want to play, then the 10th year anniversary will be a thing to remember....for all the wrong reasons.

Yeah that's why I don't usually spend time on the PTS. No desire to grind stuff THEN have to grind it again on live, lol.

Loadouts and Swapping Classes wont really benefit any existing player. So i agree. Also, you cant queue or use any of your loadouts for making group finder happy. Nor can you swap loadouts once you are in a flashpoint or operation or what ever. Even if you want to swap from 1 dps loadout to another dps loadout you cant. So it the system really is underwhelming as a change. The QoL seems super big, but its not since you cant really use it. Loadouts are basically a quick logout and login to another character button without having to actually login and logout.

I think if they just focused on the story content for the 7.0 it might have been a better idea :(

I didn't realize it's gonna be so restrictive, that's just sad.

So much this. But I'm guessing it's not the same team working on story and gameplay so the gameplay team was bored and was asked to do SOMETHING.

I mean, I understand why it's done this way and it's still nice for people who want to do everything on one character, but that's not me. I play for the story so obviously I have a bunch of alts and don't need one toon with two specs. So yeah, it's a feature I'm never going to use (except to change my force characters to their appropriate spec, it stinks that I have to pick a second one though).

Personally I'm really excited for the changes. I've wanted a rifle wielding bounty hunter forever, and SWTOR has had excessive ability bloat for years. I have three full bars of combat abilities on most characters. Streamlining abilities is desperately overdue, and I think losing some niche abilities won't make as much of a difference when PVE is rebalanced and everyone is losing the same scope of things in PVP.

LOTS is looking more and more like it will be the best, and worse patch ever.

Combat styles and loadouts are amazing. But what's the point when each discipline gets nerfs across the board and gear/level scaling ruins the tertiary stats.

I'm not so much looking forward to 7.0, but rather 7.1, 7.2, the patches where the devs finally realize they ****ed up.

It's like they are playing a completely different game.
