What's the best dps/off healer?

Including and excluding operatives/ ruffians

Well there aren't really tank off-healers so I guess you're asking who is the best off-healer?

So firstly, mercs aren't good off-healers. Their energy bar isn't long and they don't get much sustain support in their passives. Between arsenal and innovative ordnance, innovative is better because they reduce the cost of rapid scan(a 1.5 second cd ability) by 5 while arsenal merely increases heat recovery by 2 per 1.5 seconds.

They also don't really have much else to support healing and they'll just overheat pretty quickly. They do have kolto shot for 1/3rd the effectiveness of healing scan when they're overheated but that's very little at that point. You could alternate healing scan and kolto shot but the output would be pretty bad.

For sorcs, static barrier is a solid preheal, you have a HoT, and dark heal vs rapid scan is basically the same thing. No differences between the specs come to mind They have no spammable minor heal though.

Overall the sorc is going to have a much easier time weaving off-healing into his rotation(which is generally more stable and less punishing to begin with). Casually mixing heals into their rotation will cause mercs to overheat.

All healer classes have been nerfed into the ground thanks to the PvP crowd. There is not a single Healer class that can DPS or Heal because of Power restraints and having their ability's power output nerfed into the dust.

Empire or Republic makes no difference they all suffer from power, dps and healing reductions.

Sorc has the best dps though they still suck in the power dept and their healing ability sucks like all healers do.

Operatives have a similar problem No power but they also suffer with low dps.

Sage sitll does decent dps but no were what they used to have and they also suffer from NO power.

Shadows just suck other than they can stealth but even that is now almost useless as most everything can break your stealth or just outright see you even when stealthed.

In short if the class has a healing discipline it now sucks for power, DPS and Healing. And if your a healer, expect to be the first one dead as ALL npc's will now ignore the tank and go out of their way just to kill YOU.
