I was playing the game in windowed mode cuz I have my laptop connected to a 36' TV via HDMI. I changed it to Full Screen last night cuz it looked better, however, when trying to load the game this morning, it quits to desktop.

Is there a way to force it back into windowed mode without having to disconnect the TV from my laptop?

open the client_settings.ini file in notepad

D3DFullScreen = false

Set the dimensions to whatever are the dimensions of your monitor. For me, it's:

NativeHeight = 1080

NativeWidth = 1920

Save and launch.

File is located:

C:\Users\usernamehere\AppData\Local\SWTOR\swtor\settings

I find it easier to get to the right place per below

Press the [Windows] Key + [R] at the same time

Copy the following in to the text box and press ok

%localappdata%\swtor\swtor\settings

Open the client_settings.ini file in notepad and ensure the following are displayed within

Fullscreen = false

D3DFullScreen = false

RefreshRate = 60

Check NativeHeight, NativeWidth, Height and Width ( all 4 ) match your monitor resolution.

Save and close the file.

Start the game as normal.

Change graphic settings within the game as desired.
