People redeeming there code bewteen:

July-August: 7 days

August-Septemper: 6 days

September-October: 5 days

October-November: 4 days

November-December: 3 days

December 1-5: 2 days

December 5-10: 1 day

Wow I gave these people my money early for a whole day?

**** everything about this.

Sure is fun being a second-class citizen getting ROFLstomped by level 50s a whole TWENTY FOUR HOURS before everybody else does! Oh boy! So glad I forked over $60 of my hard-earned money for that great honor.

Oh my god, seriously I thought this place would get better with the lock out. Jesus people if your not in yet relax its a freakin game.

this is getting old, your either in EA or your just trolling

they seriously need to step it up, EA should be rolling all the invites today at least.

1 hour is enough time to hit lvl 8-10 for the casual player, then they move on.

No reason not to do waves every hour.

And hell some places are ghost towns from what I see on my brothers screen who's in EA

Like really?

Why are people thinking they have it set up like this?

It all depends on how smooth things are going Stephen tweeted yesterday. If things are going great then everyone should be in on Thursday. No reason to hold Decemeber people back just because.

If they do that's lame because they are basically punishing people who pre-ordered.

I see my posting of:

July = 13TH

Aug = 14TH

Sept = 15TH

Oct = 16TH

Nov = 17TH

Dec = 18th

Resulting in people doing EXACTLY what would be expected when dates are posted. They whine like children that its not right because X and Y got in and the E-Mail nitpicking.

This is why BW will not post dates for consumption with a community made up of fools.

Your logic only fails more then your post.

I have a question- Is Early game access tied to Guild Launch perhaps?

I have been assigned "The Ebon Hawk" as the server my guild has been created on and claimed my preorder code on the 21st of July. My family has, due to code mixups, claimed preorder codes at different dates. My code redemption page lists that I claimed my code on the 25th, which is not true. However, one of my family members (which is one of the 4 of my guild) claimed their code on the 25th.

So... Is it because my guild has 4 members, and the latest one was claimed on the 25th, that MY code date was shifted from the 21st to the 25th?

If so, this does suck.

So, anyone from "The Ebon Hawk" get in yet?

So the reports of people who put the code in for Dec. or Nov. and playing in the 1st early access waves are bs ? As for me playing anytime soon I don't see my 1st week of Oct. late to the party *** getting to play earlier than Fri. and probably won't be in til Sat. at 12:00 am or whatever.

Jesus didn't you read what he said? or do you just not understand?

That information isn't AVAILABLE because they're releasing waves as they get performance metrics from the server loads.

You're asking them to magically know how the servers are going to perform and when they'll be comfortable adding huge numbers of new people.

Do you not comprehend this? Or are you just one of those people who never defrags and has 4 inches of toolbars on his IE window?

Look I began writing this when this FIRST was posted and when I posted there were already a ton of responses...and secondly how bout you sit down and relax, christ you act as though I just pee'd in your cheerios

It would be good to know if EU & USA waves, whilst being sent at the same time, are independent of one another. For example, if USA had 2x the code redemptions on the 21st it doesn't hold back EU player waves starting for people who redeemed on the 22nd/23rd. Edited by Shuurajou

I can't believe how big of cowards and complete wusses Bioware is being. Are they really THAT scared there servers will crash? With 100 up already? I mean jesus christ, look at Rifts launch.

Rifts early game access launched, and almost immediately, 1,000,000 people were trying to log in all at once. To counter this, Rift started cramming out new servers fast to adequately deal with all of these people. Hey, things leveled out, everything worked, and no server crashes (that i remember, its been a while, but i'm pretty sure there wasn't). Then they offered free server xfers once a week later on so that friends who didnt get to roll on the same servers got a chance to hook back up. It all worked out swimmingly, and they are still pretty successful.

Enter you, Bioware, who, with your extremely shoddy management and poorly advertised "Early Game Access", have pretty much tripped over a branch whilst trying to walk down the path of MMOs, instead of trying to start with a jog. Hell, you already have a leg up on Rift with 50 US and 50 EU servers ready to roll, with the capability of making more.

And then you thank us for patience and "helping you warm-up the servers"? I'm pretty sure we did that already with that beta weekend. Please proceed to grow a pair and actually let us into the game. We have waited long enough.

Can you say QFT? Rift early acc was smooth as hell.

Its funny that people are saying that Bioware will lose customers because of this. They're letting us in early. They didn't have to but they are. I'll be happy whenever I get my invite. Now I have to stop restarting the game hoping the playing button is lit up and study for calculus.

regardless of "when" someone pre-ordered thier game should have absolutely no bearing at all. There was never any mention of this when we all bought the game. So the $100 I spent on pre-ordering the "CE" now grants me a day, or two, or perhapse three, or four days less of early game play than anyone else?

Why?

Because you want to "Ramp up your servers slowly"??

I call "BS"... how many years have you guys had to make sure you had enough hampsters in your servers to make a smooth launch?

Also.... this is just the early access customers trying to log in Bioware....

What the heck are you gonna do on the actual official game launch day when the disc's hit the stores? Tell them they can install the game, but we will let you all log in one week at a time?

Seriously disappointed Bioware.... I mean.... really.... wow.... what a let down this whole "early access" thing has turned out to be.

The QQ is stronggggggg with this one!

The Bioware crew have done a great favor to us by allowing us early access (sure that's common practice but not a requirement). So grow up, stop whining and let things settle in. Come Dec x you'll be playing anyway.

BioWare did us a favour? I love BioWare and its games as much as anyone else here, but it's a company that makes money from consumers in return for a product. It doesn't do anyone a favour.

Early Game Access was a smart move for a staggered launch, but it was turned into a marketing ploy to secure as many pre-orders as possible (also a smart move, in my opinion). Many of us pre-ordered as early as we did (July 21 for me, but only got code on July 28 from GameStop) because we were offered early access.

So this was an agreement, with unspecified details, signed between BioWare and the consumer. It certainly wasn't a "favour".

I had pre-ordered the regular box edition at a local store on day 1 or 2, but the store didn't have it's digital codes, so I get the shaft there. To make it worse, I upgraded to the CE the first day it was released, and guess what, the same stupid store had to wait a week to get the codes from head office. I don't think I'll get access until tomorrow or the next day. Stupid EB Games Canada.....
