Was wondering if these are always super slow to pop? Maybe it's just because I'm just getting started in ranked and there is no one with low ratings queuing, but they seem to never pop.

They are nearly always super slow. But on some servers they are worse because of low population.

Ok thanks. Yeah I'm usually not on during primetime so that is probably the issue.

On SF, solo ranked reliably pops from about 5pm est to 1-2am est (sometimes starts earlier, ends later, but there are also days here and there where it starts later and ends earlier). During that time, often there are multiple games going at once, so the pops are pretty fast unless you're really high/low elo.
