If the Companion appears in Eternal Throne/Fallen Empire story you will get a reunion scene. If the Companion only appears in the Alerts you'll get your reunion scene there. There are no further romance scenes, not even love letters. Players have complained about that. If you romance Theron Shan you get romance scenes after Eternal Throne, including after the "incident" if you play the game correctly and keep him around.
