I just beat the game and I am now level 70. I was told that I should automatically receive the mission, but no matter where I look, I can't find it. Is there any reason as to why I wouldn't get it?

If you really had "just beat the game", you would be level 80 on at least eight characters, probably more.

 

So what exactly did you finish that makes you think you beat the game?

you only get that mission if you sub  and as a sub you get it from the start i.e, level 1 [also a free way to travel to fleet and back for new characters]

if you used to sub i.e, are preferred status now then it may or may not work, 50% of the time it bugs out at random
