Ashara when you take her with you:

"Fine i ll go, but i wont abandon Jedi teachings"

Also Ashara on Voss

1) Approves binding Guardian ghost (though with futher releasign him, but still she approves dark side binding...)

2) You return to imperial woman with Voss Commando inspection. Ashara approves killing Voss Commando!!!

She litterally approves killing soldiers who didnt attack you and wished good day, provoking conflict on Voss, where Empire has problems dealing with natives.

Really Ashara?

Yes, Ashara does approve of some dark side choices, and disapproves of some light side. See, unlike Jaesa who is either all in on being Glinda the Good Witch or the Wicked Witch of the West with no middle ground, Ashara is a confused, muddle, mix of the two, and does not really know if they want to be light or dark, Jedi or Sith.

In the companion window, one of Ashara's traits is that she doesn't like bullies and approves of fighting them. She probably saw the Voss Commandoes as bullies given their rudeness and bigotry if I recall. Her views are a lot like Revan's in terms of her "middle ground" stances and ironically her ancestor (whose ghost you also bind) was in fact a fallen Jedi who followed Revan. Revan obliterated the Mandalorians and wanted to fight their injustice while the Jedi Council was more restrained. Ashara is the same sort of pragmatist who will do whatever it takes to achieve her basic goals and will make whatever compromise is necessary. She basically believes in compassion towards the weak as an overarching concern but also believes the ends justify the means and will sacrifice lives to that end

Ashara isn't a perfect Jedi; her overall attitude (as made clear by her companion convos) may be more merciful than a Sith, but is still VERY dark by Jedi standards.

She's the kind of person who would not burn down a village full of innocent people for kicks. She IS, however, the kind of person who would burn down a village full of innocent people if it would lead to long-term peace in the galaxy. She's far from the ideal Jedi... but she is the perfect ideal Light-Side Sith.

The Dark side corrupts all life around it and becomes addictive like a drug the more you are exposed or use it. Ashara is a woman in denial. She clings to the teachings of her past thinking herself a Jedi but is very angry and confused when other Jedi call her a fallen Jedi or Sith. She thinks that she is doing good in supporting the Inquisitor in changing the Empire into a more tolerant and even handed organization, but she is still supporting a Empire, founded on the tenet of the Sith. She kills Republic forces at your side furthering the goals of an organization that she hates to prove to the Jedi who rejected her that she was right in her beliefs. She is closer to being a sith than she realizes, and the reason she follows you is because she is too weak in her philosophy either way to truly be a power of her own.
