Negapao
is there a way to see the details of a battle after it is over with and/or in real-time (e.g. what skill was used by who, how much damage was done each moment... healing.. etc.)... typically used to help better play in the future... if so.. how does one enable it? . in most games this is in the form of a chat window.. or as an option to add real-time battle text to existing chat windows... mike_carton
There is a third-party utility called StarParse. It is quite good for both real-time display and post-mortem analysis. Since it doesn't touch the game programs or files, it is quite consistent with the ToS; it reads the game combat log (text) files. SteveTheCynic
cool.. thanks!.. i didn't even know there were add-ons... hehe There aren't, as such, add-ons, or at least not in the same way that e.g. WoW has add-ons. Star Parse (and other similar programs) just run in the background and read what SWTOR writes into a specific file if you turn on combat logging.
