No.

 

If you beat any class story, no matter which class, that unlocks all styles (subject to a Force/Tech divide) for any new character, regardless of which class you beat and what your alignment was.

 

Oh, and the non-Knight origin for Jedi is Consular(1), not councilor, nor councillor.

 

(1) Normally an adjective referring to the sorts of activities associated with a consulate or embassy, assistance by the source country for its nationals in dealing with problems in the host country, but also things like renewing or replacing passports of those nationals. I guess it reflects the diplomat-type activities featured in the Consular's story.

Sorry, left out one thing. You have to have reached Dark V on at least one character. Not necessarily the one who completed the class story, mind you. Or you have to buy the perk from the Legacy Panel, in the "Other" section.
