2: What we are

The Paragons Covenant is the result of an operation and concept created by a small cadre of Sith and Military officials in the Empire to create a lasting bastion within the Imperial ranks that would be able to reliably keep order and forge unity between its members in order to influence the Empire in a more efficient direction. Though the operation was originally a botched attempt on several fronts, it was picked up a final time by Darth Tarasirs and got a significant amount of traction, leading to many different individuals to gather in order to sign up for the operation, whose other primary purpose was to act as a responder force to combat threats against the Empire and its sovereignty, wether internal or external.

Since, the Covenant has grown in many different circles, incorporating the allies like the elements of the Chiss Ascendancy and Mandalorian Clans into its ranks, aswell as a growing troop of freelancers, a strong Sith presence and a vast amount of Military assets. Their surge of influence has propelled them to a position to further their goals, and will stop at nothing to protect the Empire from its enemies. They operate from within Imperial space, with pockets of territory strewn about in areas stretching from the Imperial Capital to the Far Outer Rim and Wild Space, primarily based within their mobile headquarters, the Sovereign's Convergence, a Harrower-Class Dreadnaught. By having a respected standing with imperial allies, and remaining in the good graces of the Empire most of them derive from, they are in a highly coveted position to influence galactic events, if they so wish it.

-----------------------------

3: Who we are

We here at <The Paragons Covenant> are a relaxed and easy-going RP group of guildies that wishes to find a healthy balance between interactions among individual characters and the overarching narrative of the guild story. With the guild being a bit open-ended in its potential goals and allegiances, (though primarily Imperial, first and foremost) we are able to include and consider a wide variety of different characters and thus a wide variety of different stories to the guild.

Characters with higher titles are welcomed, wether a more experienced mercenary with decades of time in the business or a Sith who has developed their name and reputation far enough to be considered a Lord in their own right, or Imperial Officers of high standing, all such characters would be welcomed provided that their players can portray their characters role well and is a good fit! We strive to offer a fair bit of everything within the guild and a varied cast of characters is important for us to provide the accurate scale that the Empire would operate on, with their influence felt across many other factions, a powerbase to be reckoned with!

Our primary recruitment goal at the moment is to acquire more non-force using characters for our branches, especially the imperial ones! Though we would naturally not cut recruitment of others despite this goal :) Basically, we are looking for good people that want a guild that wishes to provide a safe and friendly environment for its members. If you contribute to RP where you are able and make the effort to get to know people in the guild, you are off to a good start. If you further prove that you are a compatible player that doesn't cause unnecessary drama and can be trusted to maintain a respectful behavior then you are exactly what we are looking for.

For those of you wanting a simple way to get in contact with me personally in order to ask questions, my discord is freely available :) Thanadan Vaner of House Thul#0048

---------------------------------

4: The Ranks and the Rules

Click this to get a comprehensive list of the guild policy, as seen on our Enjin site. However, they can be summarised as such: Be civil, respect others in all that you do or say, don't cause drama and be a team player. We won't demand activity from you for you to be in the guild, but if you join we will atleast hope that you are around enough for us to get to know you some!

Currently there are effectively five ranks in the guild, and all but two are based on your part to play in the guild OOCly, and has no correlation to your characters importance or individual power ICly. The exceptions being "Paragon Director and "Paragon Bannerman", because these people/characters are ICly in charge of either a branch or the day to day operation of the guild. Though the ranks have an IC reason to be named as such, they are mostly informal and seldomly spoken. The ranks are:

1. Chosen function as our trial members. A 2 week trial period applies before full membership and promotion, until which the focus will be on the main character of the account, RP alts can be invited after this period is finished.

2. Paragons are full members who have seen their first OOC promotion and are seen to be in good standing after their trial period. This rank is when you're able to bring in new IC characters into the guild besides your initial main character. Many Paragons are veteran members, that have shown a long dedication to the guild, displaying a good level of activity and behavior during their tenure with the Covenant [td]

3. Paragon Recruiters are regular members who have volounteered or been chosen for and been deemed to be trusted enough to assist with day to day tasks such as promoting characters, inviting accepted new members, interviewing new members and handling recruitment-related matters.

4. The Bannermen and Directors are of equal rank importance and function as the officers of the guild under the guild leader/herald. Whereas Bannermen focus on day to day activity and recruitment, the Directors act as the main branch leaders and representatives. Both ranks are full officers ICly and OOCly.

5. The Herald acts as the Guild leader of the Covenant, responsible for being a bridge between the Community and the Guild, incharge of the vision and progress of the guild and with the overall health and wellbeing of the membership.

---------------------------

5: What we offer

We have a fully decorated Alderaan stronghold which is ICly a governmental palace built by the Empire on the planet Vaynai within the Imperial Chorlian Sector, acting as a center of imperial influence on the world from which the powerbase conducts its operations.  Its main function is to exist as a main ground headquarters, housing the bulk of the Covenant's shared forces while acting as a meeting ground for the various branches represented within this imperial organization. We also have more than sixty regularly active and available members that are on during different times of the day, rather consistently keeping us fairly active at most times with six people online being a humble regular figure, often times spanning up to being 15+ or so players online at once, with the current noted record going up to fortytwo players online at the same time.

The guild flagship was bought some time ago and has recieved all of its expansions fully furnished, and is mostly being used for RP scenarios and is considered fully finished. We host events regularly, though with infrequent intervals. One a week is the current guaranteed figure(usually averaging four a week), with an overarching guild storyline presently ongoing which is goes parallel with the story of Knights of the Eternal Throne. We have currently gone past Vaylin's attack on Odessen and slowly leading up to the events leading up to the destruction of the Eternal Fleet and the events leading up to Ossus.

The Paragons Covenant is a guild that allows for many different types of characters to join up, and one that has plenty of more room to grow and be developed. We love to get new ideas and will try to utilise as many of these as possible in helping the guild to grow and evolve. So when or if you try to join, give us suggestions and friendly pointers, we will see what we may do to implement things. Lastly, we have a well-used Discord channel for voicechat, textchat and RP.

----------------

6: How to join

Folks wanting to join up can do so either via an ingame interview or via a discord interview . This is to get a better notion of who we are letting inside the guild, learning a bit about you, the player, and your character aswell as we consider your interest :)  During the interview process one of the officers, recruiters or myself will be speaking to you as needed, so keep an eye on your whispers or discord PMs in case you get comments or questions from us. We require you to list a basic backstory so that your character is fully ready to RP as soon as you enter the guild. We can of course help with your backstory, from suggestions of smaller changes to full revamps if you feel that is required to make your character(s) make sense with our guild :)  Our available branches are below and may inspire what sort of character you could add.  If you like several of the branches as potential for a character there are ways for your character to be part of several at once due to RP circumstances. (Being part of intelligence as an agent but masquerading as standard military, a Sith dedicating their knowledge to understanding dark side healing and ends up in the science branch but still contributes to the academy etc..)

If your character and membership is approved, one of the officers, recruiter or the guildmaster will meet up with you as soon as possible to have an IC interview, in order to introduce your character into the guild through RP for a seamless transition, using what we know from the OOC interview to guide the RP. However, if your character for IC reasons happen to not be a good fit due to reasons such as ICly threatening or insulting someone who would likely be their superior, then there is still a chance that your character may not be able to join the guild. This applies especially if you are changing or adding major aspects of your character that wasn't planned around during the OOC interview. We are patient and are happy to work with you, but that also requires that we are on the same page as to what to aim towards :)

The exact scenario that you want to play out to get your character joined can be discussed and decided upon between you and the officer(s) that you talk to. It does not have to be a generic meeting if you do not want it to be. When your IC interview is done and approved, you will officially recieve the invitation to join the guild. The process for the ingame interview is very similar to the website application, simply translated into a more live setting talking directly with an officer or the guild leader rather than listing details down on the website.

-----------------

7: The Branch Structure

Currently, there are six individual branches for RP within the Paragons Covenant, however keep in mind that you are not necessarily required to have a character fit in to any of the existing niches. Each branch is led by a "Director", who delegates leadership within the branches they lead and act as the overall IC leader of an IC part of the guild. These Directors are responsible for ICly and OOCly recruiting people for the branch they are leading, aswell as acting to solve conflicts between members. They also encourage aswell as enable for the specific RP their branches cater to in regards to the branch itself and the rest of the guild. Members may potentially be part of several branches at once, such as be part of the Covenants military but in secret being one of its agents aswell, for instance. The branches and the way they are organized can be read up on in detail below!

-----The Imperial Vanguard: Soldiers, Officers, Agents, Scientists, Medics, Diplomats.--------

Operations Group 13

https://i.imgur.com/aBz3gBw.png

Originally spearheaded by Moffs Arakanam Dousantaire and Ducaine Voutair, respectively, Operations Group 13 was formed to give a common belonging to all of the armed imperial forces under the Covenants cause and banner. Its purpose is twofold: Secure the Covenant's military objectives and assist the Empire where there is need for additional personnel. The eager Navy and Army personnel look to their officers for leadership, lending coordination, governing and logistical support to the Empire's fighting force.

Together, wether Moff or Private, the individuals within the Covenant's Naval and Army forces act as the bulk of the Imperial Vanguard, staffing their many vessels, ground outposts and the Covenant's own flagship, the Sovereign's Convergence. The Operations Group has gone through various iterations of leadership and organization before finally solidifying itself into a well-oiled machine, ready to engage the enemies of the Empire wherever their attention turns.

With the Operations Group gearing up for an active participation in the Empire's campaigns within Wild Space and beyound Imperial Territories, the soldiers, officers and specialists within its' ranks gear up and prepare accordingly for the harsh realities of war that is sure to follow in the days ahead. Simple infantry, special forces, navy operators and pilots, aswell as various imperial officers are exactly what this branch caters to.

The Phantom Cell

An Intelligence network that exists without the knowledge of the Covenant at large, and officially doesn't exist as far as most others are concerned, the Phantom Cell is an official extension of Sith Intelligence operating on a covert basis to supply the Covenant with its fair share of spies and information. It simultaneously acts as an attempted project to resolodify Sith Intelligence and strenghten it back up to the state it was prior to the multiple conflicts caused by the Zakuulan invasion.

While originally only a small group of spies under Spymaster Xalazar and the synthetic construct known as Coordinator Milla that masqueraded as a special forces group, the Phantom Cell has grown to become a large and well hidden extension of Sith Intelligence. With its deeply entrenched position and easily deniable existance, the Cell can coordinate with the higher echelons of the Ministry of Intelligence in order to safeguard the Empire from within, and give it the upper hand. They adhere to orders from their supposed superiors while under cover to maintain their secrecy, but answer to and recieve commands directly from Darth Tarasirs himself.

As the Phantom Cell grew, so too did its assets. Now able to have a hand, an ear and an eye wherever they require within the Covenant, their work goes unnoticed as the agents and operatives within carry out their lives appearing as soldiers, mercenaries and anything else inbetween to keep their existance secret. Together, the cell formed a most clandestine unit of Sith Intelligence agents, who blend in seamlessly with the the powerbase's own under a wide range of covers to act as standard members of Darth Tarasirs's powerbase, helping him in the shadows for the Empire's betterment.

The Expansion Institute

https://i.imgur.com/efARXvC.png

A solution to a growing problem, a Research Division became the resolution to a stagnant Medical branch which, although successful and equipped, saw little in the way of development and restricted the Covenant's options in staffing. It was created for the sake of branching the Covenant out into fields it could previously not focus upon, with the threat of Zakuul ever looming, and lend new purpose to the many medical professionals and other associates within its rosters. Now with imperial space mostly secure, focus could be diverted to not only keeping the Covenant intact and growing, but also to keep it flourishing and learning.

Experts were brought in and personnel rearranged in order to form the basis for a proper Research division, the result was the formation of the Expansion Institute, whose goal it was to further the Empire's scientific efforts and explore the use of fringe technologies to further benefit the Covenant and the Empire. The previous medical staff of the Covenant Medical Division were folded into the institute to serve not only their previous purpose, but also to assist with medical research and advancements, utilizing the full width of the equipment the Covenant had to offer to come fully prepared and ready for new purposes and endeavours, while being supplemented with new personnel that will broaden the meaning and expertise of the branch as a whole.

While building upon the successes of the medical division before it, the Expansion Institute ties directly into the Imperial Science Bureau as a minor associated entity, with internal and external funding provided through the appropriate channels in order to endorse the efforts made by the Covenant and the Empire in the scientific field. The Expansion Institute and the Covenant itself would seek for anyone with a proficiency for inventions and either creating, studying or modifying devices of great quality. Medical professionals, cybertechs, slicers, imperials and sith with ties to the spheres of ministries of Technology and Biotic Science, aswell as droids and researchers, possibly even the creations they have made, would be able to find a place with these most diligent servants of the Empire.

-----The Allied Enclave: Mercenaries, Underworlders, Mandalorians, Civilians.--------

The Gar Kar'ta Mandalorian Coalition

https://i.imgur.com/BhPk9q8.png

An evolution of concepts, the Gar Kar'ta Coalition rose to prominence when more and more Mandalorian Clans surged through to join the Covenant's organization, and became active in the space of the Sith Empire to work alongside it as valuable and useful allies. Though distrusted within the Sith Empire at large largely due to their current association with the Eternal Alliance, their previous pact with the Sith Empire and Mandalore the Avenger's focus on survival make them fit in well within the general operations of a diplomatic powerbase such as the Covenant, having had both the time and the care needed to establish themselves within it.

Having grown from years of planning and select fostering of a unified Mandalorian front, built from the scores of Mandalorian Clans active in imperial space, clansmen within the Gar'Karta put differences between clans and individuals aside as best they can to achieve shared goals and build their reputation together as brethren alongside their imperial allies. A strong number of Mandalorian warriors and clans form the bulk of the Kar'ta, ensuring it is never in danger of falling by the wayside, always with strong leadership ready to step in and act as needed for their brethren and allies.

And now, with a growing band of brothers and sisters forming amongst the Covenant's Mandalorian ranks, the call to arms is issued, for any and all willing to adhere to the code, the canons of honor and take up the armor, to call themselves Mandalorians. And for these newcomers, come the request for the veterans, the old warriors, and the experienced followers of the Mandalorian Creed to teach their ways to the worthy in the galaxy, and take up arms with their brethren in the Iron Heart. For Mandalore and For Glory, With the Empire.

The Outriders' Mercenary Company

https://i.imgur.com/X65N45c.png

The Outrider Initiative is an effort to form a loosely based conglomerate of Able bodied citizens, Freelancers, Mercenaries, Bounty Hunters and Underworld types in order to tie them together under the cause of the Covenant. It was once formed by order of Darth Tarasirs in order to keep the Freelance individuals within the Covenant organised, trained and supplied. For this endeavour he originally chose an enigmatic information broker known publically only as "Auren", aswell as a master thief and smuggler, Hayden Vale, for the task of rounding up the rest and command the efforts of the Outriders, who paved the way for the company's bright future.

Illicit deals are encouraged in the right locations, and further associations with the many mercenary elements within the galaxy are endorsed, as the Outriders become the gateway to the galactic Underworld. Having straddled the line between a highly efficient private military to a relaxed and opportunistic band of freelancers, the Outriders eventually settled for being what they were always meant to be, a freelance lodge of brothers and sisters making credits and taking names. Together the Outriders were chosen to be a professional and highly qualified force of Contract Operators and Contract Providers, handling or distributing the work that the Imperial Military and other clients handed down to them, all in the name of shared spoils through their partnership with the Empire.

-----The Sith Bastion: Sith Apprentices, Lords, Darths.--------

The Covenant Academy

https://i.imgur.com/R3QDiZ8.png

The Sith are the undisputed leaders of the Empire, and as such it was ordered by Darth Tarasirs that the Covenant shall maintain a training initiative of its own, like the many initiatives that came before. The goals were similiar, to further the teachings of Sith that have completed their trials upon Korriban and are ready to advance in their service to the Empire. This task was first entrusted to the loyal Lords Ellydir and Antroz by Darth Tarasirs' decree when the Covenant Academy on Taral V was first under construction and later finished., and later passed down to Lords and Darths alike as the Covenant endured.

By teaching the new generations of Sith and bringing them to strenght, the Covenant is able to influence the future composition of the Empire, producing Sith that will potentially align more firmly with the vision of the Imperial State, and not have them languish in heresy or apostacy. By paving the way forwards for the new generations, the Empire's efforts have been strenghtened by several Sith of note, able to continue in the footsteps of their masters, taught to lead from the front and to show initiative. And although the Taral V Academy no longer stands, following a Republic attack, the knowledge and people kept within were saved before its' fall, allowing the Academy Initiative to continue onwards in the Covenant's main headquarters.

Wether Apprentice, Acolyte, Lord or Darth, the Covenant will accept the pledge of all who may bring powerbase and willpower to their ranks. A detachment of Imperial Guard make their home within the Covenant's territories, assigned to keep a watchful eye over proceedings, and make sure that all Sith within the Covenant's flock remain focused and that the decrees of the Emperor Vowrawn are not ignored. A competent team of Instructors under the Academy Headmaster are charged with the overall mentorship of the new Sith, offering a varied training regimen focused on producing the finest Sith possible for the Empire.

Hello there and greetings! The Paragons Covenant has survived the merge with the several other servers of the east coast, turned a year old, and we're as intent on RPing as ever! Fear not, we have every intention on remaining for as long as we are able to do so, and would love to have you along to write stories and have fun with us :)

We all make mistakes, i made a blunder the day before the merge and accidentally announced that i would be hosting an event that day, when i had scheduled it for the day after. When i noticed people had already been hyped for having an event, and the fairest thing to do was to run an event anyways, which led to the two-event chain that neatly concluded the Eternal Empire storyline that ran parallel with our guild timeline. (Ingame screenshots in the Imgur links!)

tBsj4Wz.jpg

The Siege of Dromund Kaas event chain was the result, beginning just as the Eternal Fleet successfully reached the capital of the Sith Empire, with the Covenant assembling a strike team of all available personnel for the defense, to support the imperial armada and the reinforcements headed to the Dromund System in order to buy time and fend off the fleet as best they are able.

jqmI0FT.jpg

In orbit, a grand space battle ensued, with the Capital ships of the Imperial Armada engaging with the Rogue Eternal Fleet. Admidst the chaos, a fighter wing of the Covenant's ships escorted a gunship down to the surface of Dromund Kaas, protecting it from the automated starfighters commanded by the fleet. With the Covenant eventually breaching the atmosphere and cleared to land at a safe distance outside of the city at one of the forward camps, they joined forces with imperial defenders and fought their way through the jungles to reach the outskirts of Kaas City, battling past the Skytroopers still commanded by the fleet.

TQGoBnG.jpg

The only way past the droid legions when they reached the location however, was through, and as such, the Covenant prepared for a long siege, their goal was to reach one of their small compounds in the city and garrison it for the continuation of the siege.

UxitKKE.jpg

Upon eventually finding their way to the inner city, Kaas City officials had the innermost parts of the city blocked off, a ray-shield sprung up near the compound, and created a checkpoint, with all auxiliary forces being commanded to secure territory up until that point. With the Eternal Fleet getting closer and closer to Kaas City itself, tensions ran high as the Covenant stayed the night clearing the jungles and city streets they had previously been occupied with, and resting up as much as they could before being given the order to advance along with the other defenders to keep the invading droids out of the capital. Their new goal, to defend the Citadel.

0k9QgLy.jpg

The inner city would prove the biggest challenge yet, crawling with machines as the Imperial defenders already present defended the area as best they could in wait for further reinforcements. Bolstered by the Covenant, the Empire fought on as best they could, as the strike team made its way to the governmental structure that towered over the city.

g5VjUQV.jpg

Reports from that time were unclear as to what precisely occurred during the final battle, but rumors of a vengeful Zakuulan force user present to try and stop the Empire from saving its capital while his own homeworld burned arose, and that said Zakuulan fought the Covenant by the Citadel's landing platform. Ultimately, such news were redacted and classified, only murmurs among the Citadel guardsmen present at the time, or perhaps an eyewitness account of a Covenant member, could offer insight on the matter. Just as the Eternal fleet ships nearby began to fire upon the landing platform and the Citadel, the bombardment stopped in its tracks, and the Outlander's message eventually reached the galaxy, heralding the pacification of the fleet and the end of the war with the Eternal Empire.

GqFc0t7.jpg

And, just like the end of this storyline, so came the end of an era of Ebon Hawk. We have been blessed to be part of the server for as long as we were, and all of us have many fond memories of the times shared with the community and between oneanother. But Ebon Hawk lives on with each of us, as we transition into the days of the Star Forge. We will be here, and we hope that you all can say the same. Be well, and i hope you enjoyed the read!

This will be a post unique to the Swtor website, silly me forgot to let folks here know that we had closed recruitment down for a little while. But here we are again! :D

Now, we've hardly been idle during the break in recruitment, mostly our time has been used to advance plots and RP within the different branches, some events of which i will share here as per usual. The Intelligence branch recently gathered on Manaan to discuss the reformation, after it went under deep cover, spreading rumors and false news of its official dissolution, a ruse engineered by orders from the Ministry of Intelligence conveyed to the Covenant. Sith with ties to the Phantom Cell and several agents old and new were present during the meeting to discuss details and new regulations during the gathering, aiming to consolidate the unit and keep these operatives hidden amidst the imperial ranks, acting as internal security for the Empire, and the Covenant itself.

pmEEhfq.jpg

The Mandalorian Coalition allied to the Covenant has seen a recent upswing, bolstered with new numbers and benefitted by new individuals seeking knowledge of the Mandalorian ways. Here is a very recent screenshot of an interaction where a Mandalorian recruit was taken in by one of the Clan leaders working with the Covenant, beginning to walk the road towards becoming a Mandalorian in earnest.

6SulFT2.jpg

We've got several members participating in and providing content for the community-wide "Shadow Syndicate" plotline, the resurgence of an imperial-backed underworld alliance where Mandalorians, Freelancers, and various underworld-tied personalities congregate and take care of targets for the sake of mutual gain. Whereas the Empire regains the foothold it had fought hard for back during the early years of the Galactic War, the Underworld and all of its representatives are payed handsomely for their efforts. The sights have been set upon the Abrion Sector, marking a new line of conflicts prepared to deprive the Republic of resources to supplement the Empire's waning coffers. Here is the aftermath from the Syndicate's most recent event, after one of the Republic's facilities ended up raided. And here is a link to the page where more information on this community-wide plotline can be found :)http://www.starforge-rp.com/forum/m/17460172/viewthread/30945509-second-syndicate

O8PXHjx.jpg

So! With the regular update now shortly concluding, i will thank the community once again for the outpour of support we've had since we began, and for the continued interest in interacting with the guild! We aim to be here until the game shuts down, and we hope for many good times ahead on that journey. Have a good one, and until next time!

  • 3 months later...

Now now, i'll be the first to admit that i could do these more often but here we are yet again, i always come back to this place, don't you worry :p As per usual, the Paragons Covenant is very much still active, still RPing, and still having one hell of a time, and i've got a whole slew of snippets of RP we've done since last time i wrote here to share with you all as per our usual way of doing things. BUT!, if you *do* want to ask post or comment on things here on this thread, by all means feel free to do so, i will gladly respond to questions and offer clarification if there is anything! There are a lot of pictures and text, you've been duly warned :p Now without further ado:

Recently we began to once again run our main guild storyline which coincides with the storylines of the game. Currently the Covenant has fought the Zakuulan invaders time and time again, but an old threat rears its ugly head as this new enemy falls to obscurity. On Iokath, the Empire is sent, and the humble beginnings of the campaign from the Covenant's imperial perspective will happen. Operation Golden Age became the title for the Covenant's involvement, as the firm belief that the offensive on Iokath can spark the end of the war sets in.

XoKNoWj.png

Gathered upon the bridge of the Sovereign's Convergence, the Covenant's available specialists prepared for another excursion as part of Operation Golden age, with a simple objective that would prove precarious in practice. Their goal was to explore the grounds around one of the imperial bases built in recent times, which they had to protect at one point during the start of the Empire's offensive to Iokath while avoiding contact with the Alliance on the ground. Shortly after the briefing the strike team was sent to Iokath's surface, landing with their shuttle within the imperial base they were assigned to, and prepared to explore the machine-world.

2RbFKll.png

Early on in their expedition they were found by an Alliance wardroid on patrol, and had been ordered to arrive with their usual and best kit. Having no explanation for their presence, and unable to convince the droid that they were of the Alliance, they sliced and disposed of the machine, making sure it wouldn't be searched for. Several scouts from the Covenant's team were sent out to survey ahead of the main group, and came across Monitor droids, passively hovering around an old structure, ravaged by past wars on Iokath, its' purpose unknown. Finding a broken Monitor, likely fired upon by the earlier Alliance wardroid, they fixed the machine just in time for it to begin observing the group as the sounds of welding and tinkering attracted the less hospitable Custodian droid denizens to their positions.

5Z4bcyJ.png

Having surpassed their foe and been assisted by the one Monitor droid they managed to repair, the passive machines returned to their harmless patrolling as the Covenant slowly explored onwards after the Custodian droids were destroyed, and the site itself marked for a later salvage crew to pick through at a later date. Another group of these droids were found as they entered another structure, intact and heavily fortified. Wide corridors greeted them upon entry, aswell as the second group of custodian droids, only these ones had already been struck down by republic and imperial weaponry alike after close examination. Preparing for the possibility of hostile exchange, they explored the building until they came upon an Alliance force, and after successfully lying their way to not getting forcibly removed from the premises, the Covenant left a pair of representatives to negotiate further with the Alliance's team present, as the others were allowed to peacefully depart, having been otherwise outnumbered and likely defeated.

-----------------------------------------

OAVTMhe.png

But this was not the last time they'd come across this group of Alliance forces, though the circumstances of their second encounter was a far cry from the first. Whereas there were only tensions during the first meeting, the other was another matter entirely as a familiar enemy to the Covenant resurfaced. Having bugged the Alliance base stealthily in their last encounter, the Covenant heard brief traces of distress before the transmissions were silenced, sending a force to investigate. The entire team of Alliance personnel within the base they encountered before had been massacred by an old foe of the Paragons, zealots of the traitorous "Iron Order", the brainchild and movement made by the rogue Moff Riehl to reignite the war and remove the Sith from the top of the pecking order of the Empire.

urRkYih.png

Being forced to fight old friends, as Riehl coerced a large portion of the Covenant's military forces to follow him in his madness, the Covenant's smaller team prepared for a tough fight as they put the traitors to justice after witnessing them execute some of the Alliance's own. Even this small group of traitors seemed to be a difficult match for the Paragons, which would prompt caution in the future, as they began a research project to find out as much as possible about the Iron Order's genetically enhanced and well equipped soldiers. Prevailing at last, they reclaimed the base and offered it back to the Alliance, their surveillance equipment replaced and re-hidden.

-----------------------------------------------

5UTZevQ.png

Though the precarious political situation with the Alliance and the old rivalries with the traitor Moff are important issues to deal with, neither of them are more pressing than the very real threat of the Republic's counteroffensive on Iokath. Overhearing through its' network of Agents, the Covenant dispatched a mixed party of Phantom Cell Operatives and military personnel to investigate the destruction of an imperial base, that had been established close to one of the as of yet unscouted regions of Iokath, within one of the old biomes.

u4QmprR.png

Fighting through the republic attackers still present, the covenant's striketeam for this mission noticed telltale signs that they had discovered some time prior, in a different attack on imperial ground, which had potential ties to a particular group of Republic Loyalists that had caused issues for the Covenant on Taral V. With far too many different uniforms, showing the insignias and colors of different units, the republic invaders were surmised to be yet another easily deniable organization of 'revolutionaries'. The location was resecured for the empire, though not before the Covenant investigated how precisely the base was attacked, and how such an attack went by without notice by other imperial forces in the vicinity as it occurred.

---------------------------------------------

B3Uq3WE.png

In weeks prior, the Covenant suffered a setback as the Republic sent a very similiarly outfitted force to attack the world upon which its' Academy lay, Taral V. The initial attack in space seemed like more of a distraction than anything else, as the ships were easily destroyed, the true danger being the multiple republic shuttles darting for the surface, some of which surviving, which prompted a unified response within the Covenant to help the rest of the imperial garrison on Taral V to scour the world for possible survivors from the fleet battle and put them down or imprison them.

T8i6hYN.png

Encountering several survivors encamped within the jungles far outside the academy, they came upon a hyperspace beacon nestled amongst some communications equipment next to the main tent of the republic camp they found, all troops having different uniforms and equipment on them, looking more like a ragtag band than a military fighting force, though their proficiency implied otherwise. To their surprise and before they could shut the device down, a Republic Thranta Class Cruiser was able to drop in right above their current position, bypassing several imperial ships in orbit, a timed and planned attack, and began an orbital bombardment. The Covenant had enough time to signal for an evacuation of the academy before it was leveled, shortly before the cruiser was ripped to shreds by imperial Harrower and Terminus destroyers that surrounded it, a couple of minutes of full orbital fire all that was required. Now without an Academy, and the location of its ruins requested by the Ministry of Logistics, the Paragons planned for a new location to be built to house the academies' function.

----------------------------------------------

v3c0bmP.png

After the destruction of the academy, the Covenant's Expansion Institute recieved word that a portion of their assets needed to set out towards the location and neutralize one of the droids they had kept within the Academy lab, which had been attacking local wildlife with chemical weapons, causing trouble for imperial guardsmen in the area trying to keep the place secured as various imperial institutions helped pick through the wreckage.

AVpP1AB.png

After finding the frenzied droid the professor in question that had build and stored the droid there came to join the team as she attempted to reason with the semi-intelligent droid into coming with them without causing further issue. As this was going on, another portion of the team were forced to contend with aggressive wildlife, but being of mostly imperial descent the Yozusk they fought, while large, was par for the course for Kaas residents and handled eventually. Managing to get the droid to stand down, the team continued on to find the central structure of the old academy, finding several items of interest to bring back for safekeeping or use.

---------------------------------------------

ZO7ZXHV.png

But that's not all, aside from the central plots we also have branch-based and multi-branch events that are more grounded in the meat and bones of each branch. The above image is of a job the Outriders were sent on by a secret client within the Covenant, meant to clear out a gang on Nar Shaddaa in order to ease said client's operations in the area. To their side they welcomed the Mandalorians of the Gar Ka'rta coalition, and set out to their objective on Nar Shaddaa.

0iSJCgT.png

While covering eachother's backs, they wade through the Smuggler's Moon gangland, fighting their way past criminals as they did the galaxy a favor in ridding the area of the cretins and ruffians that made their territory in the area. The leader of said gang attempted to trick the commander of the outriders into compromising his position when they eventually found the gang leader, but one of the droids accompanying the mandalorians present was keen enough to spot a concealed weapon, and killed the man before he could betray them, making the rest of their work a simple and paltry task.

----------------------------------------------

And now with that whole slideshow of text and screenshots over, bear with me, we come to the end of this message! I simply wanted to showcase to everyone that might be interested in joining up that if you decide to do so, you'll end up somewhere well established and active. Almost always something going down, wether planned or unplanned, and our times with the community of the Star Forge have been great so far, and it's in elements like these that we thrive in. I personally try my best to communicate with everyone, new and old, officer and member, aswell as people inside and outside of the guild to establish a mutual trust and respect, in order to make sure that we are doing all that we are able to do to make the Covenant as welcoming and compelling as it can be. And while it has not always been easy, it has most certainly worth it, because people like yourselves make it so, let no one claim otherwise.

Above all, Star Forge, stay classy. We'll happily do the same.

Hello and greetings once again! I've written quite a few of these over the near year and a half we've been around, i feel. Sometimes wondering what more there is to write, but i realize that atleast in my own case that's not an optimal way to think. More of the same, if it's good, is sometimes just fine, and from what i have heard and seen, that sort of stability, reliability and the certainty in knowing that things are going to keep working smoothly is what people want in a community at this stage of the game. And that's what we try our best to be, grounded, relaxed, and stable.

Our next big phase of our guild story will be occurring in a couple of days! So things are as active as ever, and a great time to join in to the fun, to play not only with us, but potentially others aswell. Recently we had some great RP with friends over in the Republic's <Arcturus Sector Fleet>, and it was great fun! A prison break upon the Sovereign's Convergence, the Covenant's Harrower flagship. The Republic striketeam arrived with Thranta Cruisers to circle and harass the ship while over Iokath, as it was isolated at the time, and prepared a boarding action to fight their way through to the brig. But they were met with heavy resistance, and eventually beaten back by the imperial defenders :)

aTuxcHT.png

A lot of folks seem to have had their interest in Star Wars revitalized with the new Solo movie coming out, and that's great to see and to hear! Can think what we wish of the movie, like or or dislike it, but i think we can all agree that the added activity is a good thing, and like the Underworld as depicted in Solo, so are the Covenant's own ties to the underworld active and around, Mercenaries seeking work have a firm future with the Outriders if they decide to give them a shot. Here's a group of them taking on a contract on Rishi to rid the place of a meddlesome gang that's been making trouble for the Outriders' interests on the planet.

Yk6O86n.png

And as always, we pride ourselves on being present in the community, and the greatest part of that is when we get to not only RP with folks that we know outside of the Covenant, but also come up with and write stories together. Wether social or preferring to remain with the people you know, we try to be as accomodating and personable as we can, and gladly RP with the good people of Star Forge, as we did below, where four of us joined up with friends made throughout our shared storytelling here on the server! A plot to save a rising Sith Lord from a failed alchemy experiment, and an attacking group of exiled mandalorians.

hNWTYHJ.jpg

Something else i've noticed is a bit of a resurgence in Imperial Military RP, and that's great! Aswell as appropriate for impside, i dare say. Mandalorians and Mercenaries seem to be popular at all times, though Imperial Military not always so, and it's good to see a swing in the right direction. If that's the sort of RP you're after, we're able to provide, with a good amount of folks with military characters available and plenty of opportunities to use them in military exclusive and shared operations. Here's a team of Operations Group Thirteen soldiers alongside a mercenary and mandalorian from the Covenant, formed up during briefing.

P8M75sd.jpg

But even beyound just the RP, the most important part of community, whatever this community does, is create a sense of belonging and friendship. That is an important aspect to not lose sight of i feel. So while hopping on ingame to check what's up IC, doing PVP or PVE on your own or with friends, don't forget to have fun. Because by the end of the day, that's why we're all here, to have a fulfilling and good time. We'll be sure to do just that, and would love to include you! Until next time, Star Forge, we're always recruiting!

Why hello there! It's been a little while, hasn't it?

Quick Info: We are still recruiting for all branches, we're still active on the daily with plenty of day-to-evening activity on the EST timezone, and we're all still here to produce RP for all! As always, opportunities for long-lasting friendships within a well-nurtured community will always remain, don't be a stranger and check the website out to sign up if you like what you see, and never be afraid to ask questions! ^.^ Website link here, click me!

And oh my, what a while it has been *Glances at last post*. Rather a bit too long of a while for my tastes in hindsight, but we've got plenty to show for that time we've not posted on here, more stuff and events than i could possibly justify highlighting all in one post here! And those of you who have scrolled through our history can tell, i write a lot :p But with that said, i am excited to hint towards what lays ahead and also put a spotlight on the good things that have occurred since last update :D So with the preamble out of the way, some screenshots.

bo2s8cw.png

^ Following our efforts to branch out and assist the community, while establishing our presence and making good friends along the way, we've been having the pleasure of the company of the imperial guild, Shadowfall Division, on occasion. And we were graciously invited to a wedding event held by them for the benefit of their leader and another of their members, Solzang and Chakyri :) An excellent social occasion that also served to strenghten bonds across the board ^.^

KSR8fLO.png

^ As the Covenant investigated opportunities in the underworld it became apparent that a certain combat stimulant of highly addictive properties was starting to make the rounds among some of the lesser gangs, with a syndicate forming around it, selling it off and growing by the promise of providing the drugs to the joiners. Noticing just how potent it seemed, and realizing this stim could very easily fall into the wrong hands and destabilize the Empire's efforts on Nar Shaddaa following the annulment of the treaty of Makeb, the Covenant sent a team to handle this syndicate and remove the poison from the streets to ensure it couldn't be sold along to the Empire's enemies.

VhX9U7J.png

^ With the Covenant gaining many allies and connections over the years, the benefits of such a vast network also means more for the organization to do across the board. And that certainly became true when the Covenant's own offer work to oneanother, handling not only matters pertaining to the Empire's security but to tighten up loose ends of their own to strenghten the organization as a whole. A small morning gathering had been arranged to root out an enemy of the Covenant's Lord Axtyr, and further the man's investigation into a cult that has had its' eyes on destabilizing the Empire.

kbghgaU.jpg

^ Having been investigating the recent regrowth of Nathema since the death of Valkorion, the Covenant has sent many expeditionary forces down to the dead world to look into this unforeseen phenomenon, and examine just how far it could potentially expand. With a proper military escort, one of these teams was sent down to keep the Covenant's headquarters on the regrown zone of Nathema properly safe and secure from enchroaching predators and other threats exposed by the sudden blossoming of life on the otherwise barren planet.

AqlBA5h.png

^ One of the long-standing threats to the Empire's security have been terrorist groups of various kinds. From the many planetary rebellions like those on Balmorra, Corellia and Alderaan, to far more specialized ones like the Eagle's uprising, these enemies of the Empire always look different, but are treated the same, with extreme prejudice. That same prejudice befell a company on Corellia that, by proxy, were supporting a terror cell that had been targeting not only the Sith Empire but the Covenant specifically, and saw one of its' facilities razed as a result of their hostility, with a well-armed team assembled to take them on.

ULfSdP5.jpg

^ It has been long enough since last update that our big Wild Space campaign has begun in earnest, and the first planet to conquer within the 'Vaun' System of planets was the world of Atridia, dubbed 'Vaun Prime' by the imperials colonizing the world during Arcann's reign and throughout the fall of the Eternal Empire. With numerous victories scored in the Empire's name, the depicted team can be seen marching through one of the ruined cities of the tumultous world, to root out the dissidents and Zakuulan supremacists still infesting it's many walls and structures.

VVU4LnM.png

^ Our final Iokath-related event saw the Covenant tackle the last remaining Republic foes in the reactivated droid factory the Covenant had fought to take control of for so long from this most hated enemy, gathering a team to rendevouz with their forces already on the surface amassing for the attack. Fighting through hostile soldiers and droids that were stuck inside the massive structure until they reached the last remaining command center, the team were met with bad news and harsh opponents all the way to the end and back again.

S4vijsq.png

^ And to kickstart the escalation of our Vaun system campaign i held a smaller quest chain taking part on the moon of the recently conquered Vaun Prime, where a striketeam of the Covenant's best were deployed to investigate rumors of Republic activity. A barren rock of a moon with low gravity and no oxygen made for a dangerous environment to travel through between the on-ground facilities, making even superficial damage potentially dangerous when travelling through the gravelly wastes. The mission concluded with a final strike upon the Republic's hidden forces on the moon, as the latter attempted to escape with their lives intact before the Empire's own came crashing down upon them upon locating their whereabouts.

ZCodEt8.jpg

^ And finally, in conclusion, we held one of our largest events to date with our recent Fourth Imperial Convergence, which serve as our community social events open to our friends and allies and others interested in showing. One thing we did different for this event was a presentation in addition to the usual socializing, is a presentation underlining our future RP campaign, which will be open to the community and advertized both here and elsewhere. A humbling amount of people showed to hang out, chat and have a good time RPing with us, which is precisely what we're all about, building relations and making opportunities for good RP to happen :)

So with all that said, i am happy to conclude this update and glimpse into the guild! I hope to see you all around ingame, and that your day remains a good one. Stay classy, Star Forge ^.^

Still around and always here to stay, a home for active and long-term play!

Quick Info: No, i am not apologizing for the rhyme :p The Covenant is always recruiting for all branches, nonforcers especially, and maintain daily activity with plenty people to meet and events to go to, active during both the day and evening on the EST timezone, happy to RP as always! opportunities for long-lasting friendships within a well-nurtured community will always remain, don't be a stranger and check the website out to sign up if you like what you see or ask a member ingame for help to get an officer to interview you! Never be afraid to ask questions! ^.^ Website link here, click me!

I have been humming and pondering how best to continue these updates, for on the one hand, i don't want to do them too often(and haven't needed to), but on the other hand it is good to send them in even if they may not be as extensive as the last one that i wrote, so with that in mind, a concrete look at what you can expect from my own event contributions within the Paragons' Covenant, in the old fashioned screenshot style!

During several afternoons a week, there will be events held at 2 pm est, for all of our european and early american friends and anyone else awake and available at the time, undertaking smaller-scale missions, anything from responding to alerts about hostile activity in a region, scouting planets, neutralizing smaller threats and investigating new potential allies of the Empire, plenty variety and fun to be had!

Sector_defense_35.png

During several evenings per week, larger and long-form events will be held, pertaining to the Covenant's goals within the greater Empire and the galaxy, not to mention benefitting the shared intentions of the Empire's allies within the Galactic Underworld, Freelance Sectors and amongst some of the Mandalorian Clans still honoring past agreements. Our primary campaign pertains to our ambitions and goals in the Wild Space region of the galaxy, several worlds abandoned by the Zakuulan Empire are ripe for the taking, and we will deliver them safely to the Empire's grasp. Expect these to push our story, but also our timeline, forwards! Getting us ever closer to the latest siege of Corelia and the Meridian Complex.

Vaun_5.png

And finally, held whenever i can make the time, sometimes during the afternoons, sometimes during the evenings, alternating between 2 and 8 pm est, a social event for all members to enjoy. These gatherings are the perfect opportunity to mingle, establish yourself and begin forming lasting connections to your fellow comrades within the powerbase and its' several branches. A varied organization as always, expect all kinds, because that's what we prefer, so long as loyalty to the Empire and its' allies is our shared ambition!

Covenant_gathering_11.png

Enjoy these events aswell as ones hosted by our members, and perhaps even by yourself! All may make their own events to host and run within the guild, so long as an appropriately thought out event plan is provided. Whether you command legions or are down on your luck with only a blaster to your name, we will consider all and welcome you to check out the Paragons' Covenant :D

We approach our fourth year, and we are not slowing down anytime soon. With daily activity since day 1, there is always a reliable and passionate group to look forward to :) As it should be!

Have a good one, Star Forge, and keep RPing! :csw_vader: (bumping to be up to date with our adverts elsewhere^^)

: A thanks to all! : Five years of thriving activity has shaped this guild, and the years have surely shaped the RP scene likewise in their own ways as we've all gone through the motions. But we are happy to still be here, and to be sharing the space with all of you! Plenty of time to both get involved with RP for the first time and joining new communities across the server, and among your options we're one of your most reliable, we'll be here ^^ And so as the game goes into its' sixth expansion, we will begin the long march towards our sixth year as a guild on Star Wars the Old Republic! Enjoy Legacy of the Sith!

: Guild Info : If you've only recently joined the StarforgeRP community and this is the first time you're seeing this, then hello! And welcome We're the Paragons' Covenant, soon to be a five-year old RP guild. Our focus is on Empire-loyalist RP and portraying the many interactions, difficulties and realities of imperial life in close proximity to both warfare and diplomacy, in close cooperation with allied business partners and factions friendly to the Empire. As you can see we've got quite the story being built up until this point if you scroll through, and we're still here thanks to all of you, both veterans and newbies to the RP scene, and for that we're ever greatful and push ever onwards!

We've had so many moments since last i posted here, so i invite you to partake in them, and if you like what you see, do apply on our website or seek me out ingame (Thanadan) to get involved with the Covenant as a member! Plenty events and RP in store as always! Here is our gallery, five years of screenshots have been gathered there, from events, casual RP and silly moments ^^

The Gallery of the Covenant

But here are a few previews ;)

The conclusion of our long-standing Vaun System storyline, fighting our way through the Zakuulan Remnants within our self-made sector of space, made to facilitate this two-year long campaign! Darth Tarasirs himself rallied with the primary striketeam as the Powerbase fought their way through the hostile defenders on their way to battle the Exarch in charge of the capital city!

3135299.jpg

A grand battle always deserves a grand celebration, and for this event we decided to host it in our command deck within the Sovereign's Convergence, the flagship of the powerbase within which we've hosted and will continue to host multiple open social RPs for the community! Here's a glimpse of the guildies's characters enjoying the banter, food and drinks available!

3135529.jpg

And of course, to precede the large evening events, we host several EU-friendly events aswell, which provide a good bit of action and good times for EU evenings and US daytime hours! Here's the Covenant team about to move from an elevator and out into the warzone that is the starship they fought within!

3135811.jpg

But as you all know, the Empire grows ever stronger, and ever more bold. The Core and the Mid Rim are now viable targets once again, and wherever the Empire goes, we will be there to ensure that it gets every advantage available. Join that story with us, as we prepare for Legacy of the Sith! Until next time Star Forge, stay classy!

Hello and greetings to everyone on the Swtor website!  With the Enjin guild websites gone, for the foreseeable future this will likely be the primary place to find us besides ingame and discord-related places, atleast until we have a replacement site going which may be a while, as most of our info has been migrated to our discord and ingame sources to begin with. The guild is doing good and we remain very active, with plenty of people logging on every day, several events per week and multiple RP campaigns being ran exclusively for our members.

So if you want to enjoy lore-accurate roleplay on the Starforge server, with a generous 200 day inactivity policy that allows you to live a normal life and attend whenever you wish, with whoever you like, this is the home for you ^^  After six years of operating as a thriving guild we have a very refined way of handling things and aim to be a low-stress environment where you get to enjoy roleplay with people who respect the setting and bring our own spin to things where it's prudent to do so ^^ I encourage you to contact me via the provided discord link if you have any interest at all to join or RP with us! Have a good one, and until next :D  I'd post images like the ones above but i am not quite sure how to do so yet so it will have to wait 😛

Thanadan Vaner of House Thul#0048 is my discord, easiest way to come into contact with the guild, exactly as it is spelled :)

hi there, unfortunately  none of us are able to post embedded images yet on these NEW forums yet: https://forums.swtor.com/topic/925109-the-new-forums-are-here/

Gotta wait for BioWare to re-enable them in "phase 2"  , whenever that is? ( "soon" , who knows ) . In the meantime, all  we can do is use off-site links like  Imgur  or whatever.

Also:  i'm not personally a big fan of RP  but i must say  i'm very impressed with your prior screenshots.  And, as a GM myself of 2 "casual" guilds since 2011 , i also really appreciate your chill vibe & positive energy.  /tip-hat  :ph_use_the_force:

Much appreciated! If you ever have an interest in checking RP out or give it another try, plenty of room to do so and to learn with us, we're happy to teach and get people started off the right way so they may feel confident in their RP both in the guild and elsewhere ^^  Thank you for letting me know about pictures :)
