BRKMSN Posted May 11, 2021 Share Posted May 11, 2021 People would just pull the "expensive" dye out of the item, move it around from character to character with legacy gear, so they can commit to the change on outfit designer repeatedly on all their toons. It makes no business sense to change the way dyes work. Even though (cartel) crystals have always been unlockable in collections, people still used to exploit the ability to circumvent the unlock purchases by moving them around in legacy gear so they would unlock for each character without using cartel coins.
