What is Plasma Cell or Ion Cell, I'm Tactic's Vanguard and see neither.

It's not shown currently as a Combat Proficiency, or as an ability granted while you LEVEL.

So why do I see a SWTOR screen that says Vanguards should use Ion Cell. If it's NOT listed anywhere, I won't know how to trigger it or take advantage of it.

They need to say if this only applies to ONE Discipline, or otherwise List ALTERNATIVE skills that replace/swap it. The only thing close I see for Tactics Vanguard is Ion Wave, but it's clearly not a power CELL. As Tactics Vanguard I only have Reserve Power Cell or Recharge Power Cell. So hence the confusion, as I'm NOT Plasmatech or Shield Specialist either; so they should be CLEAR and say Shield Specialist Vanguard's should use Ion Cell. :(

♦ Is this and OLD and forgotten ability, or does it not apply to all Vanguard's as claimed?

♦ Plasma Cell I found on the web replaced Ion Cell, but I don't think Assault applies to Vanguard, but Commando.

♦ For my Combat Proficiency listing of abilities it shows at 12 I gain, High Energy Cell replaces Plasma Cell.

♦ Yet also not listed as Passive, as I those from Discipline aren't--as it's a ability ON all the time.

♦ They really should NOT be so vague and unclear, making claim ALL Vanguards should use Ion Cell.

╘ this really only apparently applies to Shield Specialists as BEST I can tell.

Help answer for me if you can!

Where do you see that "SWTOR screen?"

It is old: Ion Cell is for shield spec and plasma cell is for plasmatech and High energy cell is for tactics. A long time ago, ALL vanguards had all 3 cells, and you could switch between active cells, kind of like a stance. The cells all corresponded to 1 of the 3 disciplines. But, allowing players to switch between cells in combat made the game difficult to balance, and maybe there was a little bit of the game being too hard for new players or something.

Anyways, there's nothing you need to do, your vanguard is always in the correct cell at all times.

I saw it on one of the Loading Screen's saying VANGUARD's, it was during a Flashpoint or just after. So it implies all should use Ion Cell; yet as I stated I don't see it because I'm not a Tank / Shield Specialist Vanguard...

So thought it was rather funny, and hence caused me a lot of CONFUSION.
