An obscene amount of unranked pops are either voidstar or queshball

Voidstars and Hypergates for most of us. But yes, you can have other map loops and that's the problem that needs to be adressed and BioWare doesn't aknowledge :(

Can't be too difficult to modify that logarithm, is a pity because it makes people so bored that they just logout (seen it on streams, and just happens to me too).

Easy fix… lump vs & hg into one category and for the love of God un-nerf OPG pop!

Whining to nerf the pop rate of the most creative PVP map ever made was an unquestionable evidence of what to expect from current generation in terms of intelligence. Was way too complicated, had to go. I guess they will still make good use of it for experimental monkeys to relax after an all-day-session of brain demanding tasks.

Who cares if it's creative if its RNG and not as fun as huttball :rak_02:

The whole point of the map is to counter the RNG factor by covering potential nodes and mod spawn locations. This ofc is too complicated for the average player/damage farmers moving in herds.

Vanila Hutball is another example of creative map design, but demands almost as much teamwork as OPG.

As a result, a vast majority of players dislike HB and OPG. Period.

You are not some gigabrain because you have a high tolerance for boredom and a sense of false superiority resulting from it. You're just a killjoy. People dislike these maps because they actively discourage pvping in pvp. It doesn't require any intelligence to play a jugg mit tank and intercede a stealther in the endzone, just the ability to rationalize ruining 14 other people's enjoyment. But go ahead, keep pretending being a "pro obj player" is some noteworthy achievement.
