I bought two Unidentified Hilts on my 306 Operative to transfer to my newly-75 Marauder to start gearing. Once I bought the two, I realized that despite being cocked the tech frags and getting the "Bought Item [Unidentified Hilt]" message, neither appeared in my inventory.

I tried logging out completely and restarting the game, but buying a third yielded the same result, so I'm out 675 tech frags with no idea where the hilts disappeared to at the moment.

It's a known Issue.

According to this Thread you simply can't buy barrels or hilts on a character that can not use them.

To get your Tech fragments back:

I thought this was fixed a while ago, but I guess I was misremembering.

Shame...makes gearing my Mara a bit more of a hassle since my other 306's are all blaster users (Merc, powertech, and Operative).

Hi folks,

This bug concerning the Unidentified barrels and hilts purchased from the Spoils of War vendor on the Fleet is a known issue.

Our team is aiming to fix it in our next Game Update 6.2.1. I'll keep you posted if there is any change. In the meantime, if you purchased one of those items but didn't receive anything, you can contact our support team for a refund.

As this thread is a duplicate of the one previously mentioned: Not able to buy Barrel from Spoils of War vendor on saber user character, I will close this one to avoid any confusion.
