Hello,

I bought two Unidentified Hilts on my 306 Operative to transfer to my newly-75 Marauder to start gearing. Once I bought the two, I realized that despite being cocked the tech frags and getting the "Bought Item [unidentified Hilt]" message, neither appeared in my inventory.

I tried logging out completely and restarting the game, but buying a third yielded the same result, so I'm out 675 tech frags with no idea where the hilts disappeared to at the moment.

It's a known Issue.

According to this Thread you simply can't buy barrels or hilts on a character that can not use them.

For those who didn't receive anything when purchased Unidentified barrels and hilts purchased from the Spoils of War vendor on the Fleet, I invite you to directly contact our support team to request a restoration of the tech fragments used.

 

To contact our support team, you can directly create an in-game ticket:

 

1. Click on the question mark icon on the main menu, (or press Ctrl + /).
   
2. Click on Create ticket, then follow the on-screen instructions to provide details and submit your ticket.

I thought this was fixed a while ago, but I guess I was misremembering.

Shame...makes gearing my Mara a bit more of a hassle since my other 306's are all blaster users (Merc, powertech, and Operative).
