  1. So, I've been having a problem with STEAM wanting to download an update... but it won't download. It brings in 2,667 bytes of 200K and just stops. I don't believe there is actually an update that I don't have. I have been able to get Steam to open, and when I check Downloads everything clears up and I can play normally. However, what I have going on right now is the Update download has disappeared, and I cannot get Steam to open at all and I cannot open my SWTOR launcher. When I click the shortcuts for either, straight up nothing happens. Possibly related, I've been having a LOT of infinite loading screens since about the same time this all started.
  2. As simple as that; just a button that we can click to have our Launcher remember our Passwords. This isn't an option everyone would want, as not everyone plays on their own, safe machine but I do. No one uses my machine but me, and it's password protected anyways. It's not a huge deal, but my passwords are all in a separate file to for me to sign in, I've got a two step process. A three step process when I get around to reactivating my security key. It's good that the game has a lot of security, but it makes it a bit of a pain to log in.
  3. I attempted this flashpoint on my Healing main, and I found that in the second area; the wilds with the canyon paths, Lana just disappears. I think there is some wonkiness where she aggros mobs that are nowhere near me, and gets locked in combat somewhere off the map. I don't really know what's going on... but I do know that Lana disappears and there's no way to resummon her. Now, it also occurs to me that having a 2nd, uncontrolled Companion in a Flashpoint was an upgrade to the games "feel" as opposed to having a Combat Support Droid. The major difference being that the Combat Support Droid has a button you can use to resummon him. I'm thinking that one of the fixes to this issue is a button to resummon the 2nd, uncontrolled companion.
  4. I came to the forums to make sure that this issue had been reported; in some situations it's just a little game breaking. I find that I can get the Exit Area button to work, I just have to click around the one side of it, like, 120 times. The whole button should work, and it shouldn't matter where on the UI it is placed. This needs a fix.
  5. Absolutely, yes. I hate having to crouch half-way up the wall at an angle to get my back blasts in.
  6. Thanks for getting back to me, Steve. This goes kinda out and above SWTOR related content now. Anyways. I've kinda given up on this. Time and distance, wot?
  7. Well... spoilers. Obvs. My character must REALLY want to save Senya if I let Arcaan live.
  8. Well... really, Operative/Scoundrel is the ONLY Melee Healer; Sage/Sorc and Merc/Mando are at range healers. You've also nailed one of my big problems with Operative Healing right now. Before I knew about Kolto Burst, I was using the one that applies DR to the target, and using my full spectrum of abilities. Healing that way, was more interesting because you're using all your tools. However, healing that way also makes Operatives kind of weak. Then I watched a video about Operative healing, learned the trick about Kolto Burst.... and now Operative Healing is incredibly potent, and cripplingly boring. This specific ability needs to go, and the kit needs a polish to keep it competitive.
  9. Yes, this is really not about that anymore. This was kind of a "last straw" moment for me, and the fight is about a lot more than 60 cents.... that's just the battleground it's happening on. I did go to My Account, but all that indicates is "in game purchase," which left me confused. What in game purchase? I didn't buy anything! Except, yeah, I guess I did. I understand you're providing information and not arguing with me, so this response is not arguing with you... it's questioning the process. When you spend Cartel Coins, you are now spending real world money.... shouldn't more robust Consumer Laws take some sort of precedence here?
  10. So the other night I happened to check, and I was missing 50 Cartel Coins. I asked CSR what I had spent those on, because I couldn't remember spending any. They told me that I had bought a DK Stronghold (new, singular, character on a new server). I replied back "I didn't mean to do that, please, please, please refund this transaction." Customer Service was like.... "nope." I replied, asking them to do better; Customer Service advised me, again, not a chance, that and also they would delete any further mails on the topic. Now, this is basically a fight over 60 cents. That's what 50 Cartel Coins is worth. They are also worth, by my figuring 25 Million credits, which is a bit more significant. But to be honest, there is a lot of "behind the scenes drama" that makes this a hill I'm willing to die on. I go into it more thoroughly here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion-Technical/Need-refund-for-in-game-purchase/m-p/11582740#M91477 What I am asking from players, or possibly moderators should any visit this thread... is there any other place where I can ask for help on this issue, advocate for better customer service, receive succor... get my damn 60 cents back?
  11. Yeah, me too. That, and also.... Hey, Arkaan! Your Mom says hi!
  12. I am not currently on the PTS, but this is an ability I feel needs to show up on the PTS for some re-testing. The current meta has Medicine Operatives doing mad, AoE healing by simply using Kolto Injection on themselves. For the unaware, Medicine Operatives have a Utility that modifies Kolto Injection to heal up to 8 allies. Now... normally a Utility takes a base ability and improves the way it functions between 50 and 100 percent. I'm thinking of the Utilities available for Dark Infusion on the Sorcerer tree. One is Rally, which changes it into a power that heals two targets instead of one (100% more powerful) and Lingering Corruption which adds a HoT to Dark Infusion that adds about 50% more healing. In comparison, the Operative utility Kolto Burst, gives the ability 8 targets, makes it literally 800% more powerful. I don't know who looked at this and thought it was balanced, but it obviously needs to be reworked. My thinking is, that for a reasonable change to the Medicine Operative is to take an ability from Nano Healing and swap it with Kolto Burst. So, Nano Healing would instead heal up to 8 targets (instead of 4, which is a 100% improvement to power) and Kolto Injection would gain an ability that increases healing done to the target by 20% for 15 seconds (Nano Heal has a similar utility). I think it's better to be pro-active about this kind of wild imbalance instead of just waiting for the Nerf Bat to come down.
  13. I would love to see a "Corsair" class that uses Pistols and Vibroblades. I'd also like to see Sith Beastmasters (which is a Real Thing!) . I'm not sure exactly how that would work, as we already have Companions. I already have a "Beast Master" that's just a Marauder that uses a lot of Beast Mounts and Companions. A comparable Jedi Class would probably be Droid related. It seems to me Jedi used to have some Droid related Force Powers, and of course there's Leeha Narez.
  14. I really wanted to romance Senya on my Fem. Trooper. I took all the flirt options (like two... three tops) and there's just nothing. ...in my head-canon however, they are a couple. Because why not?
  15. I was hoping you had a fix... I also often find it too dark, even with my gamma cranked.
