Newish player to the game here. (Played a Shadow at launch for a month) Returned to the game a few months ago. Started leveling an Assassin but changed my mind about half way to 60 and decided to play Sorcerer. Still have a lot to learn in the game and am still gearing up hitting the warzones almost every night.
I was looking forward to gearing up and doing rateds. But should I be?
From what I keep reading about rated play is that the community is very small, no pops, toxic attitudes, single faction games, cheese comps.
Does it make sense to spend a lot of time gearing up, learning the game, practicing my class only to find no fun at the end game?
I did make an alt character on the Harbinger server as I hear it is very active. My Mercenary is ~ 23 and I was going to look for a pvp-focused guild. Every time I had asked in general-Fleet-chat whom are the active PvP guilds? I'd get no response, or comments about it being a PVE server.
Is 'The Harbinger' really the place to be for PvP?
So that's my rant, thanks for reading. Don't take my questions as trollish - I thought I'd just poll the community as I'm on the fence about keeping my subscription active.
