  1. I was in an 8v8 TDM match today, and we got hammered like 50-15. We had what I assume were 3 newbies who had zero kills and a few assists each, but judging by their stats were at least somewhat trying to fight. And three afk/suiciders who had zeros across the board (except deaths of course). Myself and one other person had all the kills. I'm a mediocre GSF pilot at best, but even if I was godlike I can't imagine being able to cover for 3 suiciders.
  2. So with all the nonsense going on with afk or low-effort [Weekly] farming, here's some positivity (kinda ). I joined a TDM match and started with my half-upgraded Flashfire. I'm a pretty mediocre player, but I think I've been getting better. Anyway, within probably less than a minute we were up 12-0. I'd get on someone's tail and maybe get off one missile before they just melted. Often I'd be locking on and my target would be turned to dust before I got an attack off. The match ended 50-2 with about ~5 mins left. One of those 2 was a self-destruct by me when I power-dove into the environment. I finished with 0 kills, 4 assists, 1 death and 1 medal. I didn't think to look at everyone's ships at the time, but I was thinking that maybe there was a coordinated Gunship group? At the very least, most of my team had to have been in comms together, right? The sheer level of destruction was really amazing. The downside to this display is that it's likely kinda demoralizing to be on the receiving end of something like that.
  3. I'd like to see this as well. Specifically, the Akk Dog. The Mace Windu novel Shatterpoint set on Haruun Kal establishes that Akk Dogs are also mounts.
  4. The second one with the capsule-style pods is Resurrected Underworld Knight, or the old Underworld/Verpine JK sets. I've never noticed the one you're looking for, but I checked my Synth/Armormech crafters and couldn't find anything like it. Maybe it only exists as a 270/276 drop?
  5. Just did this mission 3 days ago. No bugs. Maybe some people who can't complete it could outline EXACTLY what they're doing, and where things go wrong? And here's the link to the Vulkk guide a few others have mentioned.
  6. Pretty sure you can delete a token character and it frees up the token so long as you haven't levelled yet. Which also frees up the name. Two birds with one stone, so long as nobody snags the name in the meantime.
  7. Someone can correct me if I'm mis-remembering, since my recollection is a bit fuzzy. In 1.0 vanilla swtor, there was a credit sink. The Korrealis mounts that dropped in the command crates (Baron, Commander, Prince, Sovereign) were sold on the fleet (2 per faction I think?) for what was - at the time - ridiculous amounts of credits. 1mil each I think, although it could have been higher, I can't remember. The result? There was so much whining that BW removed the vendor. Most of the complaining was about exclusive content for the wealthy, though once BW allowed mounts on the fleet (originally you had to run everywhere), there were also people using them to troll by parking their giant speeders over mailboxes or blocking the GTN terminals. So that was also a complaint. So to play devil's advocate, here's an example. Say they introduce another mount vendor on each fleet. Four amazing unique mounts per faction, all with a cool flourish. And they also have a perk that no other mounts have - your active companion visibly rides on the mount with you. The mounts are BoP and can't be unlocked in collections, so you have to purchase them on a per-character basis, and they're 500+mil each. Or let's get serious and say they're a billion each. So all the crazy-wealthy are queuing up for the exclusive mounts, and obscene amounts of credits are disappearing from the game. Mission accomplished, right? But how long before the forums and subreddit are full of posts crying about how this cool new feature is exclusive to the hardcore wealthy or people who buy credits with cash? I can almost guarantee that it would happen.
  8. That happens whenever there's a patch or maintenance when you sell something that was put up prior to the server downtime. Pretty sure it's always been that way.
  9. If that's the case, there should be some reasoning behind which characters get them. From what I can tell, it seems to be random.
  10. I think that might be a coincidence. All of my characters were in full 306.
  11. Quick question about these loot containers. On a few characters, I had a full set of both appear in my inventory when I first logged in. On other toons, nothing. Is there a reason for this? By design, or bug?
  12. If it's based on anything, it's the Krayt Dragon pearl quest in Knights of the Old Republic, not swtor. IIRC, in that quest you had to lure some banthas near the cave for bait, and an easy strat was to mine the area like crazy prior to triggering the spawn. Also, I think the star map for the main quest was in the back of the dragon's cave, and when you came out afterwards the Calo Nord fight happened. I think so anyway, I may be misremembering.
  13. So is it the same sound effect as the legendary Ossus pistol? I kinda liked the look of those, then I equipped one and tested it out.
  14. Here's an idea. This would seem like a perfect opportunity to update the matrix shards. Add a new recipe for a 306 relic with the rakghoul vaccine as an activation ability. Updating something that hasn't been touched since launch seems like it'd be a win to me.
  15. The only way I've found to make them work is to deactivate the SH and reactivate. After that, the first arrival point you choose will apply to all characters in your legacy. Forever, apparently. They really need to put a few people on bug fixing.
