  1. Hi there <Aftermath> and <Legend> are very casual, social, PvE focused guilds looking to expand again! I've been around since the game came out, but this guild has been officially active since March 2017. It started out when I got a couple of my RL friends playing this game, then we started expanding when we met some awesome people on the game. We're a very relaxed guild that's looking to teach people the ways of the game - teaching the mechanics of the game, teaching the classes and combat proficiency you've chosen, working together to explore the game, etc. We're a great guild for those who are looking for a small, consistent group to play with, or for those who are looking for a guild with no repercussions when you're inactive in the game. We have very lenient rules and we take every idea seriously when brought to our attention in terms of expanding or improving the guild. Both guilds have a maxed out stronghold and flagship access. We have a combined optional Discord channel for the two guilds with a welcome splash channel. If you want to get to know us, or you want a straight invite into everything, click here: https://discord.gg/wDrNQxK
  2. Hi all Not sure if I'm too late to get in on this, but if I could get one sent my way, I'd be forever grateful. I see some people trying to sell them and I don't know if that's entirely ethical as it was a giveaway, so I'm not trying to promote that much. EDIT: I'm sorry, I thought this was for the NVIDIA. I ended up getting special forces when it first came up.
  3. Hi all! I'm sure this has been posted many times over the years as it's another one of those commonly bugged FPs, but after some wipes and spending (too much) time looking up exactly why it happens, we used a workaround that seems to be pretty reliable. When fighting, we had our healer popping the terminals to take out the ship, but obviously anyone (rdps?) can do that. The healer was standing up by the terminal through the whole fight, running up there every time Jindo grappled, but we only activated the terminal as soon as the ship hit the target lock of 300%. It leaves a few seconds of stress healing, but as long as the flame sweep is getting interrupted, it's absolutely very manageable. After the terminal is clicked, all DPS absolutely have to stop damage. [Fact check?] Seems like the bug happens when the ship is reset and the dps is too high/fast and gets the ship to the 100% lock before the ship gets backed off completely. Now, if it's gets too hard, the terminal can be done at any time, the group just has to know not to do any dps for 5-10 seconds when the terminal is clicked. We used 300% as our go-to since I could heal through it up until that point, and the system notification for that is a good marker. Like I said, I'm sure it's been posted many times, but I'm hoping with the information in this thread, someone who struggles with it can find it easily in a google search or something. Massive shoutout to the GF PUG I had that was extremely good at communicating, very patient, and willing to mess around to figure out what could be a reliable way to do it. Thorin Oakenshshield of <Eternal Freedom> and Anddrew & Mastersarabi of <First Republic Order>, y'all are great dudes. Thanks for an excellent run. - Asair'sha (Star Forge) tl;dr: communicate with group so they know not to dps for a few seconds when ship terminal is clicked
  4. Ace, was pretty confident they nerfed Esseles/BT but you all confirm otherwise. Much appreciated.
  5. Additionally, I bought a Dread Enforcer set, not realizing I needed Dark 2 for another alt. Fastest way to gain DS points?
  6. Heyyo. I'm trying to get social points for one of my new alts since I want Hoth's Hailstorm Brotherhood set, but that's a Social 4. Last I saw, Esseles stopped giving out social points. Is that still true? If so, what's the new most efficient way to rack up social points?
  7. Hello! We started out as friends who started playing the game in March, we've expanded to people we've PUG'd with, and now we're expanding to you! We're a casual, social, PvE guild, looking to hop into the ranks of PvP with the help of that special recruit. As it is right now, we're calling on each other to help with FPs and Ops. We work together as needed. We've had people join who were new to the game, now they're running Ops with us! We help explain each class, combat proficiency, and the game itself. After being active for the better part of the year, we're comfortable enough training and helping others as needed. "Rising through the ranks" with us is simple. It's essentially done by being friendly. I don't run any rules or point systems. Be nice to us and we'll be nice back. We don't make anything mandatory in the guild, it's very laid back. However, we do offer a Discord (one server, multiple channels based on faction) and a flagship on both sides. Should this be up your alley, feel free to hop in here, ask us questions, get to know us, or see if it's right for you: https://discord.gg/wDrNQxK
  8. I'm 99% sure this is just a command crate armor set.
  9. I'll also chime in with a HM Assault on Tython story. I'm a 247 rating Seer Sage. Pubside, Ebon Hawk. Queued with a few people from GF, tank/Shadow was a Sokan member. All 70s, tier 1+, tank joined with 212 armor. Slinger asks if we can do bonus, Guardian DCs. Tank immediately votes to kick. I didn't vote, so it stayed up for a bit, slinger ended up voting to kick after a few. Tank dies on first mob. We get to boss and slinger asks to kill trash on the sides for bonus. Tank says "do me a favour and stop talking." Finally manage to get to the boss, wiped 3 times. Finally I said "not going to be possible with a tank who's dragging cleave into the rest of the group doing circles around boss and standing in AoE through the whole fight. I got a pst saying "internet bullying is against biowares policies. Cease and desist immediately or find a new game to play" I replied "LMFAO" "Final warning" Ignored so I never queue with him.
  10. Hey there. I've done this a couple times, but I'm now working on actually taking charge and forming a real guild out of this. This guild started out as a couple real life friends and myself getting together and running group content. We've worked our way up all from lvl1 together, and we're still learning a couple things here and there. We're generally running HM FPs at this point and have been taking advantage of the server wide Allies chat do run Ops. We've done a bit of expanding by picking a couple people up here and there from PUGs and they've ended becoming some of the most trusted and active members in the guild. So, cutting to the chase, we're a non-RP active casual social guild looking to finally expand and become a bigger guild. One that we can actually use the guild chat specifically to try and get more people joining us in the PvE and PvP runs we do. Depending on how big the guild gets, I'm looking for more officers to help run the guild. Those will be handpicked by the dedication we see. We've got a maxed out Manaan SH and a flagship on <Aftermath> and a maxed out Yavin SH on <Legend>. Flagship should be coming soon on impside. tl;dr We're a group of nice friends looking to expand into the TOR Community, ready to teach the game, ready to learn the game together. Entirely social guild where we allow people to do whatever they want. If you're looking for an invite, reply here, or preferably, hop in this Discord server. We don't require voice chat, but it's the easiest way to reach us. https://discord.gg/wDrNQxK <Aftermath> is pubside. <Legend> is impside.
  11. So, I've seen Guild Services hopping around the Ebon Hawk server selling decos, but I know they have to be added to the guild to put the decos in. I know that Mounts and Pets can be bought in after you unlock them for yourself, but what about everything else? Specific example: My light side guild has the Ancient Rakata Alchemical Beast. I want that for my dark side guild. Instead of myself donating it to the guild, would it have been better if I used it for my personal stronghold, and could I have donated it by paying the creds to the guild from that?
  12. Okay there was very little reason to group up for veteran FPs after the last nerf when everyone's fighting for one item. Now there's literally no reason to queue for Veteran. Going to be a lot harder when people start to realize this and GF for it is completely dead. Thanks dudes. Hope to see more people queueing Master now.
  13. Hey all, I've started to get into packs because I've got a ridiculous over abundance of Cartel coins from actually getting IRL friends to play this game (crazy, right!?) Anyway, I've been trying to get the Flairs. I've been eyeing the GTN, so I know their value, and I know what I'm willing to pay for it, but since I've done a few packs, I've got quite a bit of Cartel items sitting around as well. I've got some items that are worth a bit more than others. In order of which I want: Corrupted Eternal Havoc Carnage If anyone has some kicking around in their stash, maybe we can work out a deal.
