  1. Yes and no. The screenshots above I made 2 days ago, and indeed bloom was ticked on. Now I logged to game, ticked bloom off and tested dismount, and then on and tested- no matter what option I always have foggy effect - but today not that white like 2 days ago but greyed (no more blinding). Apparently this fog on dismount only happens when dismounting animal mounts- checked on chemilizard, tauntaun, vrake and dewback. Non-animal mounts generate no fog or any other effect while dismounting.
  2. Happens to me only with this mount, all other have not this issue.. Any idea what makes it?
  3. I saw floating turrets yesterday on Alderaan (rep side base), the turrets were floating and passable objects in a same time.
  4. indeed, I can't understand why shifting player levels down to 70, if creatures are shifted down to level 62 ? Moreover the number 62 for creature level of Zakuulan Wingmaw (right bottom corner of screen) isn't greyed, but rather yellow, meaning we should still be getting a small portion of experience when killing this creature, when we get none. In a same time this place is scattered with grade 9 materials respawning quick even without players around. Maybe that is such artificial environment where intentionaly players are discouraged to stay and farm materials while in a same time advancing in levels by killing monsters. Instead we are to do it only for a short time and leave swamps to see other maps.
  5. My character level 75 is shifted to 70, and creatures level is 62, but experience from killing overland monsters is stuck at 3431/xxxxxxxxxx.
  6. I know that sir, I produce Mk-2. But you don't explain why a gold reusable item, that is received by crafter from reverse-enginnered it's previous artifact version, magically gets unique restriction. That makes it to only be used by a very narrow range of players who are able to produce it, to me it has not a slight sense. Considering that reusable version needs a lot of resouces for production, with very expensive 5 pcs. Legendary Ember, can only assume that someone who decided it will be reusable only for players with Biochem 700, while useless for all other players, was a malicious person.

It probably was addressed many times, but maybe there is any light in tunnel of upcoming changes, to alter that idea, that crafted artifact kyrprax medpac is available for all, regardless of their trained crew skills, when the ultimate version MK-2, crafted with so much efforts and only 5% chance to reverse-engineer, can be used only by those who have Biochem (700) 😕. Or did I miss something?

  9. There is a number of warnings on Steam to not buy subscription there, but via official https://www.swtor.com/ Lots of people had that issue before. Due to these warnings I used the official site and paid with PaySafeCard. 60 days, non-recurring, it worked perfectly fine and without credit card.
  10. During launcher update you should see a small icon on a bottom left corner (for stop and resume), clicking on it multiple times fast or slow should push the patching forward. I found it by accicent, when my launcher was stuck at last small patch, and that clicking fast helped me patching up.
  11. Considering how much more generous can be other MMOs, like ESO for example, I wouldn't call SWTOR ftp model generous. Two probably most important factors to compare - available number of playable characters and number of in-game currency in wallet. In ESO non-subscibers have no above limits, in SWTOR we are forced to choose a fixed number of playable characters and the limit of credits is very strict. As SWTOR player with 32 characters and over 200 milions credits, I cannot log to SWTOR without subscription, because I would be asked to make a choice, while I can log to ESO any time whenever I want. Edit: as for the original question "Those of us that paid full price for this game at launch, did we get anything for that?" They received an ability to play the game they have bought, that feeling of being the first, all that splendor and ability to brag among community, got the medal and a title, but still not enough...

I will stick to your thread since I also found on GTN something in similar category: after purchasing all qty available on Mediscan Unit (screenshot-bottom of list), that item is still listed in last purchase price, but qty zero. I was still able to click on currency icon to bring a purchase popup, only to confirm that product with no quantity is not purchasable.
  13. I fully agree with your point. Moreover I cannot understand this devs decision. They literally stripped us of an extra possible income, that was always connected with augmented item. In return they do not give anything. Not even explained why they did this change, which in my understanding means only "we did it because we wanted and don't give a heck about players opinion". It was explained on PTS, but it's wrong and should be always considered a bug (or if not bug, than at least a bad change/functionality) because it worked before, and now doesn't work. If people will accept without cultural objections any such decisions, than one day the devs will think that way about all their changes to this game. Hey people, now it works as intended. Was working better before? Nooo, now works better. Don't you like it? Your loss.
  14. I pick up all loot no matter what it is, so have those options on, in most cases it doesn't need confirmation but sometimes it does. No idea why it happens but it's quite annoying when we are forced extra action that we do not expected.
  15. Any idea when it will be fixed? Sometimes it's even worse, not telling the names of main areas, GTN, supplies etc. I cannot remember them and vendor locations (especially when switching Rep/Imp sides often) and have to waste time on searching.
