  1. If someone say something like that in 2 lines all i can say please show me and prove it. And teach me, as a sniper main i need that piwer. Thats it nothing more. Or if cant do that why the hell post anything like that
  2. Well, im not gonna say you are all wrong here. Because I have extreme opinion on quite many things and lets say im too passionate and even harsh about few things, SWTOR is one of those. Also i cant really stand unfairness. Which leads to strong posts which can make some ppl with other mentality smile or even shocked. PPL who know me know how to get what i say. Even tho this dosent help much on an online forum. Besides that, i have valid points in my arguments, in my posts.. and i dont just write random stuff in 2 lines, like i can rip apart any class with sorcerer so it must be OP..... Yes clearly you cant face tank 5 dps for too long even as madness, BUT as madness you can facetank much longer than other specs and making even huge mistakes dosent really punish madness, which really goes against the playstyle of a cloth user that meant to start kiting instantly as a melee is getting close, which isnt neccesary at all for current madness, since you can spend quite much time in the middle of nowhere taking dmg by multiple enemies with high DR% and tough self heals integrated into dmg abilities and off gcd healing ability. No one said it should be nerfed into oblivion.... When ppl think about needed madness changes... or lets say what i think about how the madness problem should be solved is more like 1 or 2 minor changes like these and not nerfing it to the ground: - 30 sec cd instead of 20 sec cd on overload..... - keep the 15sec cd on force speed or at least reduce the force speed cd reduction on dots - Give a gcd on Unnatural preservation, which is currently off gcd - Slightly reduce self heals on force leech like 10% or other self healing abilities integrated into dmg abilities - Remove the passive heal on absorb bubble when its up or make it a talent tree choice - Increase the cd on phase walk - Remove the reapplying slow effect on death brand - increase the cd on electrocute - increase the force cost on healing abilities Just wrote some of the small changes that could help, but even i have more ideas i didnt write but could work and im sure there are other ideas from other ppl smarter than me with more data in their pockets. Not all of them needed, just like 1 or 2 of these changes... None of them would nerf the class into oblivion and implementing any of these would be easy, fast, not resources heavy at all.... Instead of that, we have OP specs for years and not making small adjustments that reduce the gap between the top performer spec and everyone else. The problem is not that we have a FOTM spec for years in every content, but that they dont even try to reducce the gap... Nobody minds if madness stay on top if they at least try to reduce the gap with micro changes, but they even buff them more, when like you said everyone in the pvp community know madness is S tier(forum is full of it, there are lot of feedback, like you said im the 32167342th guy who say the obvious), while specs at the bottom of the foodchain dont get anything. And this is why my posts are extreme, because i cant understand, i really cant.... why we cant have small changes like i described above more frequently like every 3 months, small balance changes which takes almost no resources to implement and dont nerf or buff specs too much, wouldnt even touch the meta, just fine tuning to reduce the gap between specs instead of making the strong even stronger.... First thing, on DM before the patch, i didnt really see sorcerers running plaguemaster, especially not PvPers or decent well known names. Second it was just a fix to deal the right type of dmg which was not working as intended before. Third, did anyone checked how much dmg they lost? i mean if i understand correctly it was dealing only internal dmg before.... Now they deal the actual type of dmg, creeping terror and affliction are internal dmg so no changes there and demolish is kinetic dmg. the only dot that changed was demolish from internal to kinetic, to its correct dmg type... its clearly losing dmg, but seems not that much for me, but i dont have any metrics for that.... I really didnt see ppl running plaguemaster before, i never ever had problem with that, but maybe its just me. i accept that if ppl say everyone was running this, my wzs even the public ones show otherwise, so my experience with and against plagumaster before the patch shows that this change dosent affect players that much, even if they do, the dmg they lose dont seem that bad, but as i said i have no metrics. I would love to see ppl going for plaguemaster tho, because that means they dont get 10 sec cd on force speed, which is one of the most annyoing thing since the last patch. So well lets say its not that op dmg wise, but i think so many specs would be happy to have the single target dmg of madness in pvp not to mention aoe spread dmg... Even tho i ve seen screenshots of single target build (death brand) sorcerer going 20k+ which is quite decent for single target but generally seeing madness sorc as top dmg in any wz is one of the most common thing in SWTOR 7.0 era, even i had some sick dmg games with purple augs and basically as a half good madness sorcerer playing very few games. Every class suffers from dmg output loss under pressure and if its forced to play defensively, some class affected more, some less. I think madness even if its not the absolute best for dps farming it has a very good spot for pure numbers and also doing very well under pressure because of all the active tools and passives it has. I think the biggest impact on a wz when team fight is going is kills, you kill somone from the enemy team and you get number adventage for X time, depends on the type of wz because of respawn. A player that survives and out of the combat for like 10 seconds is better than respawning, also if a person is kiting long enough while the enemy team is chasing has a huge effect on the wz, simply because the enemy team is busy with chasing and teammates can free cast on chasing players. Chasing someone with half of your team and dont get a kill is a waste with minor benefits. In this madness is the best by far, therefore i think it has quite much impact on a game even if its dmg is reduced under pressure like every other specs in the game, at least they can heal themselves not just stand behind a wall like a ...... While numbers can be important and both sorc specs doing very good in that aspect of the game, i think kills have more impact and madness is the hardest to kill spec by far while its mobility and control make it one of the toughest to run away from. This combinantion is deadly and no other class has anything like this, this is why ppl are kinda mad about madness... and this is why this change with the last patch was horrible, becuase it just boosted this deadly combo madness already had even more.(more survivability, more mobility, more control while its dmg is not absolute best, but still very strong) simply it has no weak spot at all. And like i said above, the problem is not that in this content madness is the FOTM, there is always a strongest spec, but that they make the strong even stronger with balance changes, instead of reducing the gap between the apex preadator and the other lower performing specs. And im gonna finish here with this last part and let this post go, since it seems like it dosent lead anywhere... still dont see any proof about how any of your engi sniper rip apart my madness sorcerer like the comment said. All i see you all are avoiding and ignoring that part of my comments, 2nd time now and try to take the argument to somewhere else, so here is the 3rd opportunity. 2 random lines supported by 3 of you. Yet i still dont see any of you lining up to demonstrate how that happens and show the result whatever it is to prove that you re right and that comment is true! Oh yeah, so once a spec has its "time to shine" then it should last for 2-3 years without a change, when its obvious they re op... and thats ok, we should just sit quietly in the corner let them ruin the pvp experience and dont bring any attention to it or give any feedback. Even if with small changes it could be less op and still stay a top tier spec, but no, we have to accept that they even buff them more, because its their time to shine.... BTW im the biggest supporter who would nerf Engi sniper big boom tactical or even remove it.... and i even dont run it because i dont think its okay for engi to work like that, even had a forum post about that early 7.0 era Okay, so yeah im the guy who is totally lost here right? Because i asked You and others who say random things on forum to prove what you say, You can say irony and you can try to troll me, but i do things and if i say things i prove them with actions, the same cannot be said by anyone who say engi can rip apart any half good madness sorcerer... Thats why i asked you or anyone who support that idea for a duel, so you can show and demonstrate this and the result, the recorded video can even go public, so you can all prove the opinion you support: 3 of you supported this comment @EmperorRus @-Bob- @Samcuu randomly saying stuff without any details or video or anything, i guess this means that you agree with this opinion, then why dont you prove it? You call me whatevet you like, you defend op specs, you support comments like this... yet you dont have the balls to go and show how you do this in game against just a half good madness sorcerer like me.... instead you re trying to troll me..... You can try to make fun of this, trolling about this and call for irony after i called you forum hero and making stupid nerd things like all the no life mmorpg players do and all stuff, but well what im asking for is just proof, which can be shown easily in a duel, just to prove if this comment is true or not, yet none of you have the balls to go for a duel as engi sniper against me as madness sorc to support your opinion, to just demonstrate what that comment describes.... but sure i am the bad guy here, the noob who says stupid things... and dont prove anything with actions supported with videos...
  4. You realise that it was told in this post like 4 times madness has the highest passive DR from any dps spec, yes including heavy armor users. One of the main point of this whole post is their passive dmg reduction as a cloth user and their self hela and mobility, losing half of your hp as madness is nothing.... And this is not some subjective someone feel butthurt crying thing. Its simple fact, madness has 30% + DR 95% of the time and can heal back half of their hp in few gcds while can run and los the enemy behind an object any time. Im on a holiday and checking the forum on the airport, but im gonna be home after 21 sept, you can show me how you destroy my madness sorcerer as an engi sniper in a duel. We can even publish a YT video about the fight... You can show it either on DM or SF! Its easy to throw random words to a post, without facts.... Here is Your chance to prove your words and show how you destroy a madness sorcerer as a sniper! @Samcuu the same thing goes for you too, you always defend op specs, idk your skill level or how much you know about pvp or class balance or how respected you re in the pvp community, but you are a big forum hero. i would really love to see what you know about this game by actually playing the game, and not just throwing subjective random things on the forum. So yeah bring any specs(except lethality and skank jugg those are kinda as op as madness) and play against me when im on madness. All i want is that the heros on this post saying madness is not op as **** prove their opinion, since they dont write anything that can be used to prove or deny it, then pls show me in the game in combat! Im sorry everyone, but im a bit tired of some ppl saying random things on forum, without proof, without ever write any details or numbers or abilities or anything useful that can be used to prove or deny things, just that how they feel about a spec.
  5. Whats the point of comments like this? Like i said i already checked. i already wrote my experiences. There is no choices they want to force. Simply now madness has 30% + dmg reduction cosntantly up, 10 sec cd on force sprint which last 2,5 seconds, force leech cast on the move and a new tool lower CD on stun which reduce dmg output on the target for 10 sec by 25%. Next to all the op stuff madness already had. im not gonna write it again since i wrote it already 3 times in this post, there is no choice to make and they lost cloud mind.... Go check for yourself, i tested in quite many games yesterday, played against full premades, coudlnt die against electro nets engi snipers and dec sinc, nothing can kill me at all. I was in GOD mode spending most of the game force speeding while no one could root\slow me, so they couldnt even run from me, while i could run whenever i wanted against ex ranked gold\platina premade, i ddnt have to use a single phase walk or big bubble at all because even without those i was in GOD mode simply becuase i was twice as mobile as the most mobile spec after madness, has the best dmg reduction, better than heavy armor users and melee specs and has the best self heal built into your dmg abilitites, force speedng 25% of the whole wz..... Im gonna have videos about madness on YT, so everyone can see for themselves, after iam back from my holiday at the end of september. Im pretty sure other content creators will show madness in GOD mode until im back.

Now You can take the 3x5%(15%) dmg reduction on dots, 95% uptime and and reduced force speed cooldown by 3 seconds every 5 seconds, which can let you use force speed on an even shorter cooldown, basically you can kinda use force speed around every 10 seconds on a spec that already had the best mobility Until today you had to chose one from this 2 very strong talent points, mobility or dmg reduction, now you can have both while not losing anything important! and there is the reduced cd on hard stun, which also reduce dmg output of the target by 25% for 10 secs and the built in cast on move! all these changes on a spec that already had the best survivability and mobility I have one question: HOW THE HELL DID THIS GO LIVE? And when are they gonna get a hotfix for it? Clearly this wont stay long on Live servers! If You dont believe me, log to your sorcerer and check how you can reach 10sec cd on force speed while having 30%+ dmg reduction 35%+ if you take another 5% passive dmg red on skill tree and skipping the shorter cd on stun, running up and down while casting force leech, having 2 combat resets and the strongest self heal heal in the game as a dps Pls dont hate on me, check this before you say anything. If you think its ok to have 10 sec cd on force speed, that breaks every movement impairing effects and makes you immune to it and you travel at light speed for 2,5 seconds while you have 30%+ dmg reduction with the built in self heals and hard stun and 5 secs aoe root on 20 sec cd and 15 sec polarity shift on a short cd.... so if you think its ok for a spec in pvp, then please play any other spec against just madness sorcs in the rest of your life...
  7. Have You seen the combat changes in the patch notes? So our beloved sorcerers, who already rule every wzs and the average number of sorcerers in warzones is like about 6-8. sometimes 10-12, sometimes just 4. So these sorcerers now got their movement talent built into the class, given to every sorcerers(madness\lightning) without the need to choose it.... and they get a new talent to replace the mobility talent, which reduces their hard stun's CD and after the stun effect expires, it reduce dmg output of the target by 25% for 10 seconds. Lets take a look at madness, it has better passive dmg reduction constantly up than any other dps heavy armor users as a ranged cloth user... and has the best self heals next to the best dmg reduction.. aaaand one of the best mobility... aaaaand 2 combat resets.... aaaand sorc is one of the few specs that could keep its stun without a talent choice after 7.0..... aaaand it has a 5 sec aoe root on 20 sec cd..... this buff was needed indeed for sorc! I always like to make a summary what this spec has, because its even more fun to look at it as a list. - Better passive DMG reduction better than any dps specs in the game as a ranged - Best self heals, most of them built into DMG abilities, or dosent respect GCD, so these self heals come without losing DPS, but if these enormous self heals are not enough they can always go los and use absorb bubble or casting some heals without a cd. - One of the best mobility - 2 combat resets, phase walk, big bubble - Superb control, 5 sec aoe root on 20 sec cd, hard stun on 50 sec cd with new talent, which is reduced by alacrity aka even with the use of polarity shift so its even less than 50 secs. 2 sec root on single target every 9 seconds with minor dps loss. - One of the best if not the best offensive cd... polarity shift for 15 seconds, which gives 50% speed bonus, some sick alacrity boost 20% i think, make you immune to interrupts, and with the sorc implant 20% bonus dmg to all force dmg. The fun thing in all of this, its cd is short, because with the other basic sorc implant its cd is reduced by the use of force sprint, which you use on cd.... I dont even mention the support\utility part... with pull, bubble, instant hot and castable off heals to help your teammates in a close arena match which is totally unmatched by any other dps specs... Sorcerer / Sage Teaching of Rajivari mod now deals the correct type of damage. Plague Master mod now deals the correct type of damage. Lightning / Telekinetics Force Mobility is now baseline for Lightning / Telekinetics. Torturous Tactics / Staggering Stratagem replaces Force Mobility as a level 51 utility choice. Torturous Tactics / Staggering Stratagem - Lowers the cooldown of Electrocute / Force Stun by 10 seconds. In addition, targets stunned by your Electrocute /Force Stun deal 25% less damage for 10 seconds when Electrocute / Force Stun wears off. Madness / Balance Force Mobility is now baseline for Madness / Balance. Torturous Tactics / Staggering Stratagem replaces Force Mobility as a level 51 utility choice. Torturous Tactics / Staggering Stratagem - Lowers the cooldown of Electrocute / Force Stun by 10 seconds. In addition, targets stunned by your Electrocute / Force Stun deal 25% less damage for 10 seconds when Electrocute / Force Stun wears off. Force Speed is now granted at level 25. Shifted Critical Movement / Enhanced Force Speed to level 27 Row. Shifted Cloud Mind to level 43 Row. Is there any decent players out there who can die on madness at all in wzs? i mean die on madness is a real challenge, after this change it will be even harder to do. Going for 1v1 against a decent madness was a no go already... after your dmg will be reduced by 25% for 10 seconds like every 40 secs, supposedly on your dmg window... its totally pointless to go against any madness. I guess just run every time you see one Im really curious what is going on in the head of the guy that finds out changes like this.... seriously i really want to understand. Does he or she even know what is going on in wzs at all? What are your thoughts?
  8. Yesterday, i ended up playing 15 games, 12 of them were huttball.... only got one voidstar, one civil war and one hypergate. Now i woke up and thought cmon, q up to do a quick wz, im currenlty in the wz guess what? HUTTBALL.... make it 13\16. its brutal, i mean i really cant believe this is happening and like i said this is not the only time when something like this happens. played 5 in a row yesterday then 4 with small breaks and some lockout, then 6 in a row again and now my first game im currently in and afking writing this post, because my nervous system cant take its 13th huttbal in less than 1 day out of 16 games.... 😬🥴😖 I really want to see some community manager or soemone from the company gets his balls, come here and say "THE MATCHMAKING SYSTEM IS WORKING AS INTENDED, WORKING PROPERLY AND YOU HAVE THE SAME CHANCE TO GET INTO EACH TYPE OF WZ" to humiliate themselves and make it clear for everyone they dont even play their own game. DEEEEW IT!

    PvP is terrible

    Oh im kinda one of those players Dont worry, dont feel bad for those players, i can only speak fo myself, but i love this game and i got good or not so bad, because i love playing the game, and having fun(mostly) not because i want views or money or whatever, actually i invested quite much money to be able to publish videos on YT. I dont think any of the SWTOR pvp content creators do it for money and fame . PPL love playing and play games, because of that. I think everyone is happy til we can play the game and the servers are online and we can enjoy our hobby, because SWTOR is a game, a hobby, not a job, actually a pretty fun hobby in todays world, where every game is singleplayer or if multiplayer its super simple, dumb, straighforward, and want ppl to dont think at all. So SWTOR is still so much better than popular no brainer games, i mean current 7.0 SWTOR is dumbed down to the ground, but still more complex and better game than most of the games out there. But yeah if you dont like it, dont play it, simple as that. I m not sure what you wanted to tell with this post, its pretty hard to follow, but yeah, i guess nice first post my friend!

Oh man, i wish they would ve done that, so we could still have all of our abilitites and a bit more complexity. 7.0 is dumb as hell, the vombat system is like a demo version of 6.0 and 6.0 is like a demo version of 2.0 actually i wish the game would still be in 2.0 with all the abilities and skill trer we had back then, but yeah 6.0 wasnt bad that would be good too, surely it was better than 7.0 by lightyears.
  13. Okay guys, thats it, i lost it all today, having a breakdown. Why? Not becuase the many other things that is totally broken in PvP right now, like premades are not matching with premades, or 6-8 sorcerers in every wz, or not properly working abilitites, there is a long list, i could list things til tomorrow.... These are bad things, but you can still have fun in games and your time is not totally wasted. BUT THE FREAKING BROKEN MATHCMAKING SYSTEM, THAT GIVES HUTTBALL AT LEAST 75% of the time and THE COMPANY KEEP SAYING THAT ITS WORKING PROPERLY AND YOU HAVE THE SAME CHANCE TO GET EVERY TYPE OF WZs. THE COMPANY THAT DOSENT EVEN PLAY THEIR OWN GAME, because if they would play it then it would be clear how broken their matchmaking system is.... Im writing this post after this afternoon i played 7 warzones and 6 of them were huttball and this is not only happaned today but its an everyday problem, my record was 11 huttbals in a row, nothing else and since i record all my games i can check it and even prove it. happened yesterday too, last week, every time i play this poor game its clear you get huttball much more often than any other wz, the matchmaking system is not working properly, thats sure. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO SOMETHING! I feel like i wasted hours on my limited playtime, because simply cant have fun on the same map. No surprise nobody wants to play the objective and go afk if we get huttball 75% of the time, i love playing huttball, when it happens 1\5 wzs and i even care about the objective and having fun. but this is ridiculous....

SWTOR had one of the best leveling experience in the first years, if i recall correctly 4.0 was the patch that killed it totally, you could one shoot mobs since then and the whole leveling became boring and you got absolutely zero satisfaction from doing it and many ppl like myself dont even want to start a new character anymore, someone who really loved leveling in SWTOR before. Well, just randomly found a video on YT about Lord of The Rings Online(its so sick that game is still a live, i really hope SWTOR gonna live even longer <3), So in this video the guy shows LOTRO system, which let you choose difficulty for leveling. WOW classic hardcore is a fancy thing right now, so many ppl looking for classic\hard leveling experience. I beilive a system like that would bring a ton of players to the game, so many players stopped playing and got bored in the game because they removed most of its complexity and they make SWTOR easier and simpler by every patch with no challenge, making the combat and the classes dumb\easy\simple\straightforward as hell. Right now if you dont touch a single button, just pull in mobs by walking through them, your comapnion will do all the killing in seconds, really there is nothing to do while leveling, most boring stuff i ever experienced in a game any game since 4.0. Imagine if you need to use, cc(roots, slows, stuns, sleep, etc), LOS, def cds, self healing, medpacks, adrenals, grenades to get through on some bosses, and use your brain and the surroundings, terrain on some pull, need to have plans to solve problems and fights in the game, and gear would matter when you re leveling, which you can get by playing on harder difficulty and there would be a goal while leveling next to having fun.   15. Before the new spec names like IO (pre 3.0)... one of my main used to be a pyrotech mercenary, kinda because i loved rail shot sound and animation. Since the change i rarely play it, because i find the western like hip fire shot(mag shot) and its sound so lame. I think rail shoot is superior and the spec worked like that before, so i guess its not impossible to let us change it back for some hot cartel coins. Suely i would pay a ton of CC to get back rail shoot for merc IO\pyrotech. Give us more option to spend CC 😛
