  1. PS: anyways, we're not here to argue, we are mutual that developer should improve this I seem to end up in writing and answering nitpickings the whole day, which just seems to continue as the topic goes on, as so often in the internet - what about the topic...!? - ; rather than finally doing some (more) OPing - I think I made my points; rest is community and developer having to do improve as post 1 suggests. Thanks for the support.
  2. Which is only a problem when you have only a very low number of people searching Then most will start the OP and the others only wait a bit longer... Additionally it tells you what is lacking: Actually on my list/server it always shows DD missing. But what ever. By the way: This is not different when custom group-building. - point of custom building is you can control what gear and experience one has that joins, which I addressed to be improved via better channel support, so just by the way... PS: anyways, we're not here to argue, we are mutual that developer should improve this I seem to end up the whole day in writing and answering nitpickings rather than finally doing some OPing - I think I made my points. Have a good one.
  3. Suggestion: Channel: Make /LFG official Summary of following thread: - Yes we know about /Cjoin LFG - It is about a global LFG channel (Looking for Group) - It is about auto-joining when you are level 75 - It is about people not knowing about it or being reluctant to "new ideas" even getting aggressive about it... thusly main-method still is Fleet-Camping, ATM, in order to find a group for non-FP-content at all. Developers should improve game based on social-meta. For Details/Background please see this Discussion Thread about OP finder and how hard it is to find groups when you are questing = using the Wait time "effectively" http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=9882057#post9882057 End of line: Please make an official /LFG channel once you are level 75. (or improve group finder)
  4. The OPs I did were all easy and successful, people still tank heal and talk, no clue what you mean -no one seemed to take damage let alone not one dying ever. When there was an OP-find that is. Now sure why you try to make this sound like I was a newb, I did all FPs and some Master FPs, so next step was me looking into OPs. This thread is really not about that. it's Story mode after all... There really is no problem to that and it seriously doesn't deserve this comment because it really shouldn't be easier at all, I played some other games mind you. Like I said I know about Fleet-camping. (ANd see topic for suggestions) I tried several guilds, there isn't much OPing anywhere... there simply seem to be missing incentives. So usually at least the easy group finder content - where all you need to do is Pressing One Button - is done alot, not here. Thanks, see above. Yes I said that. It's a feedback about how there is not enough people coming up in the default features which are supposed to be fun = being able to do stuff while waiting or when being new to endgame, AKA massive multiplayer online = fun.
  5. Hey there, Me: I'm kind of new to level 75 and endgame content for some weeks What: not even at the Weekend I am finding no OPs (and no Uprisings) via Group Finder feature. this is the first game, where I don't find people for this kind of content (the actual MMO content with more than 5 people in it) via the finder for the easy modes... I tried: - since I am level 75, so quite some time - almost each day - evening in the week, - whole day: weekend (Saturday, you'd expect some more players here) (OP and both Uprisings (all checked of course)) no results! Please: - Please Improve the incentives to do this kind of content, because apparently no one cares. Because this is what an MMO is so special about IMO. - Please add a global LFG chat - I know t he /cjoin LFG, but some seem reluctant to take this tip - and they just be standing on the Fleet the whole day to build custom groups. You know what? While searching for several hours, I would like to play some content like quests. So please support the /lfg as an official channel - Details official LFG: On by default once you become level 75 (like general/trade you could set it on/off via options and chat window of course) (I know most people play veteran FPs, while that's the reason/issue it's not the topic here, thanks) Thanks for understanding the feedback. PS: (EDIT) I think I will pause my sub now. I was looking forward for some great group content typical in MMOs (and that I also heard and know that it exits plenty in SWTOR), ... long story short: I did the FPs (normal + hardcore) and have sufficient equipment for SM/HC content = Exp+Equip; I was in 3 guilds looking for OPing, and I still don't have any mild action in that regard besides a few occassional ones.
  6. Little Update - Now with Video Reproducing it. 3 minutes length, there is exact 2 timers in the description: --- Camera Bug in Star Wars since Release ---- Here 2 out of X tries: - 0:24 (you can find this clickable - below the video) - 2:53 Note: In a gaming session it happens at most Once, since here I repeatedly did what creates the bug in short succession, within 3 minutes. ---- Details: ---- - Based on Camera Movement via Mouse, Left Click - I had the UI on when this happened, my tests without UI (alt+Y) weren't giving results, but then I didn't test it without UI alot, only before this video. - It doesn't seem to be based on how much I move the mouse, I could reproduce it with the slightest movement, it simply happens at the beginning (when clicking and moving) - It can happen in the most different places, without obstacles, as you can see here. (I noticed the bug here when buying materials, and decided to create a video showcasing it finally) ---- Reproducibility: ---- - As you can see it is reproduce-able. Sometimes at some positions I couldn't reproduce, looking at a limited time - I know several people who know about this, but it is never considered a biggy, but a rare/occasional occurrence. ---- This is bug of this game and Not based on the user: ---- - I reproduced this on different machines - I reproduced this with several years difference (at release and NOW, wondering it hasn't been fixed...) - If it matters all machines had Windows, 64 bit (one was windows 7, today it's windows 10) - It exists ONLY in this very game . .
  7. Short Summary: Upon Moving the camera with your left cick, rarely occuring, reproducably camera turning wierdly. As you can see in my Signature, this is a bug from release. I reported it back then, now I play as a returner for quite some time and noticed it again since then, the thread is also updated. I finally decided to create a video, since nothings been done. Please improve it: 3 minutes length, there is exact 2 timers in the description: --- Camera Bug in Star Wars since Release ---- Here 2 out of X tries: - 0:24 (you can find this clickable - below the video in the link) - 2:53 Note: In a gaming session it happens at most Once, since here I repeatedly did what creates the bug in short succession, within 3 minutes. ---- Details: ---- - Based on Camera Movement via Mouse, Left Click - (IIRC also occurred to me with right click turn) - I had the UI on when this happened, my tests without UI (alt+Y) weren't giving results, but then I didn't test it without UI alot, only before this video. - It doesn't seem to be based on how much I move the mouse, I could reproduce it with the slightest movement, it simply happens at the beginning (when clicking and moving) - It can happen in the most different places, without obstacles, as you can see here. (I noticed the bug here when buying materials, and decided to create a video showcasing it finally) - - sorry I didn't note which exact places,, because it seems to be possible anywhere. ---- Reproducibility: ---- - As you can see it is reproduce-able. Sometimes at some positions I couldn't reproduce, looking at a limited time - I know several people who know about this, but it is never considered a biggy, but a rare/occasional occurrence. ---- This is bug of this game and Not based on the user: ---- - I reproduced this on different machines - I reproduced this with several years difference (at release and NOW, wondering it hasn't been fixed...) - If it matters all machines had Windows, 64 bit (one was windows 7, today it's windows 10) - It exists ONLY in this very game . .
  8. Good arguments, I'll look onto Force breach again, thanks for add.
  9. By the way: Does the Messaging work in this forum? I tried it couple of times , and don't see my sent-objects.
  10. hey there, welcome. Just dropping by. here are some thoughts - why don't you post your Server Name, that way it's easier to determine how close a relationship could go. - in general I think it's very common to get such contacts ingame, there is also Guilds, despite I made the experience the bigger, the less personal help you get if any. So in detail: you can ask in /1 or try to get in contact with people you liked. However always respect the people's goals ingame The person will signal to you if he likes to help you more like "you can add me to friends if you have another question", or only answered as one-time. - that being said of course it's a great question. Anyways you can simply use the New-Player Help forum to ask for stuff you want to know more about, and from my experience about 80% people here are friendly and like to help you ou as good as as a friend if they know the answers. - Indeed any person here might post what you seek, I don't know this. have fun.
  11. That's a good judgement, after reading your post I looked at it again, so looking at the Kinetic/Darkness: 3,17% of Weapon Expertise 4,60% of Force Sensitivity vs 7,49% of Armor Penetration... Also if you compare it with the Infiltration Spec where : 4,79 of Weapon expertise and having worse Effect from Armor Pen (5,74%) than Kinetic/Darkness, this could be a good Hint. However I don't know the details of each Spec - I know some specs simply have Armor Pen themselves, thusly the Amplifier isn't adding as much relatively. BTW: I know about my own Spec though, it's indeed 4 force attacks, 2 saber attacks per rotation, with possibility towards about 50% (weapon/force) depending on Target Health (...) and exact speccing (MiM, which is not always gotten) and gearing (stun set...) (both add one more weapon attack to the roation essentially) (This is not the topic to talk about that , but I got the rotation and details noted here). I think it's not as easy, because of many random numbers. You need to gather the numbers and calculate the averages. In Addition to me not having access to the great Armor-Pen-Amps. It would be an ingestion I want to know more about, first. Thank you for your posts. The sheet certainly answers the topic - kind of. At least for making my decisions based on better background knowledge as I hoped for, now. Thanks
  12. @JYthelifesaver Thanks I read it back then. Well here it was as low as 14k per piece, people selling it in chunks of 10 or 100+. - - -Some Update after tons of researching, talking with the right people, and playing the last weeks - let me write a good summary here G'day there. It is true. And I struggle(d) tha same. My best short tip is: Don't worry too much about it and play the content you want, you'll get tons of stuff on the fly. Sell what you don't need, or disintegrate it if you have more credits than Tech-Frags. Of course I have tons of tips and summaries for anything you want to know in Detail below... Because despite what you think and you lacking the perfect gear. you are fine with ordinary 306 gear, and slowly improving it for most content such as Story OP, Veteran and Master FP. Which are all ought to be possible from 270 up! If you play your class correctly. Of course everything goes smoother as you get your first set boni (2,4,6) and more augments. By the way the best tip is: Save your money for the RIGHT things that you really need: The correct Set, for the correct Augment. There are tons of gearing guides ( I raed 3). Before that: ...Here are two more personal tips: - In General buying Endgame gear from Vendors is just to fill gaps and certain pieces you miss. It's not supposed to be all bought! - Keep in mind the many auto-loots such as Valor Chests and Conquest Chests, netting you every gear you will ever need over time. So theoretically you don't need one single credit. - If you wanted you could Boost (one time premium feature)/Buy a boost to get your same class to level 70, for 2x Conquest Chests... As all endgame gear is legacy-bound it's as good as your very other character. (transfer stuff over once you are done Conquest with your other char) ...Here is the from my finds best SUMMARIES for your "issue", if you want to know more: How to gear up at level 75, and how to do it efficiently , AKA earning the right stuff and saving Credits - this includes doing certain quests, and content for the stuff you search... (my other 2 guides are in other language) --edit-- removed this link because I found this site is really negative and dont want to advertise it - this includes more indepth and personal tips on how to build up a good game This should really cover everything. Please mind you, you didn't give any details on yourself in the first post for direct feedback. - Please look at the game being supposed that way: It's supposed to be a gearing journey: Finding stuff over weeks in conquest chests, valor, reknown, random drops, some Story OPs already. - So NOT HAVING everything immediately is the point of the game.. AKA not getting bored and play an other game. Which is the point of almost each Gearing-RPG. - Also note: Fom 15. Sept (today) you get 2x Valor Exp which will make gearing "even easier". (because quite frankly when you look on the big picture it's quite a self-going process, any solo player will achieve it, just over time, (except for the one OP-only set)) Have fun
  13. Thanks that's very helpful. On my first play through I want to take my time, but when I am doing such elsewhere it seems to some times take really long, so I rather ask. By the way: Is there any way to change the starting Profession of a Premium/Expansion 70-Boost? I have 600/600/600 in Synth/Arch which I don't want, because I already have it...
  14. Where do I start onslaught from there? And about previous topic: KotFE: How long does it take ~about~ to get to Chp.9?
  15. Hi, I have 2 more questions: - Starting with Onslaught should just be fine, right? I recently boosted a character just to see, but haven't had the guts to level/do a mission (then you can't refund it). edit: - How long does it take ~about~ to get to Chp.9? (KOTFE)
