  1. As of May 2022 I have another odd issue in my Tatooine Stronghold. I have it in one of the upper rooms; when you're up on the balcony looking out over Tatooine, it's the one behind to your left. I placed it in the back of the room, to the right. Now when I've used the Appearance Modification Station I do not spawn behind it or turned 180 degrees, but instead, I fall through the floor of the balcony. If I'm fast enough to type /stuck, I'll be warped back to the balcony; otherwise I fall to my death.
  2. Been levelling up to 700, and the only one that gives a percentage of research seems to be the Kyrprax Medpac/Medunit. The purple polybiotics ones, which I used before 7.0, don't seem to give research results anymore, just like most other purple medpacs/medunits don't seem grant research results either. Green to Blue to Purple: no problem. But to go from Purple to Yellow/Gold (legendary) seems to work only for Kyrprax now. Anyway, still testing it out :-)
  3. I may have missed something, but in 7.0 I can't seem to get (legendary) Reusable Medpac schematics anymore from 'Reverse Engineering' purples. Additionally I don't remember reading in the Patch Notes about removing the ability to learn the schematics this way. Any one got a clue if and how we could still learn one in 7.0???
  4. I know the alignment system is still there; that's not the issue. In fact, your mention that 'dialogue-choices actually mean something again' is rendered moot, because with the release of 7.0 the Dark/Light alignment actually seems to mean LESS. Sure, for example, you're given the option to choose a Sith Combat Style when you're a Jedi with at least some Dark Alignment points. You can however keep playing as a Jedi (e.g. Sage combat style) no matter how strong your Dark Alignment becomes. Additionally, you can still hide Dark Side corruption, and there seem to be fewer weapons and less armour requiring Dark/Light alignment to be used. To me it simply didn't seem necessary to impose these limitations, so that's why I suggested some things. Among my suggestions were: special dark/light missions and 'donating credits to charities' (or bribing certain npcs) that could help people earn dark/light points. Such ways to earn more D/L points would actually 'mean something', I think. It would also give players more endgame content, rather than having to run certain Flashpoints for eternity, or having to make a new character and do it all over again, only now with other D/L choices...
  5. Below are just a few ideas to re-enable/facilitate alignment gain. Let's face it, Star Wars is all about DARK vs LIGHT, so this should be elemental to the game. Even if many aspects of the game aren't that much affected by the alignment these days. I came to this because one of my favourite characters was Dark alignment V. Before 7.0 it was already a chore to earn more Light Side points, but with 7.0 it became even harder. Making a new character and spending credits/CC on Legacy unlocks again isn't an option. Changing her present crew skills (all at 700) isn't an option either. And I dread the idea of having to run Esseles a gazillion times. My suggestions to make it easier for people to change their alignment more quickly/easily: - Alignment Boosts (like XP and Reputation boost stims/items); - Special Dark/Light missions on a Daily and/or Weekly basis, or even infinitely repeatable, and all with good alignment rewards (D/L points or tokens to redeem for points); - Terminals and/or NPCs where you can donate credits to certain charities for Dark and/or Light points (might be on a Daily/Weekly cooldown); - Cartel Market items that may offer good chunks of Dark or Light points (like small, medium, large).
  6. I love the idea! Also because it gives the whole LEGACY concept more depth. Can't wait to use my favourite female sage as my main guardian's companion. In my Family Tree they're husband and wife anyway Additionally I was also thinking of perhaps enabling alts as decorations. I know that it may be a bit more tricky to implement, especially as players may delete alts along the way. An example: an in-game ability or terminal to craft a certain amount of statues/busts of one or more of your characters. The body types, faces, gear, etc. are all part of the repertoire anyway, so I guess it could somehow work?
  7. I've had the exact same issue. No trouble running it as part of the 7.0 story content, but when I had already reached level 80 and tried to solo it after the story was done (as part of GS weekly), I had only 1 companion, instead of 2. When reaching the Regnant Boss, I barely destroyed the 2nd console or was close to it, and my companion (level 50 influence) apparently decided it wasn't worth it, and died. Either not healing, or not enough. I couldn't find any way to activate a 'support droid' like they did for some other/older Flashpoints. That certainly would've helped.
  8. (Haven't been able to log on the next day and try again, so it may work correctly now) Last night, when reaching the temple on the summit, every time I use the temple door, I get the same cinematic from BEFORE I went up there, and I'm thrown back to that same area. I have no idea what caused this. Earlier I got close to the spot that started the cinematic, and hit Esc because I didn't want to lose bonus missions. I completed those first and then went back to the place that spawned the cinematic. Everything seemed to be going well on my way to the temple, but that's where I got stuck in the same loop, which is pretty game/story breaking. Jumping off a cliff (and dying/reviving) within the Flashpoint didn't help, and neither did exiting and re-entering the Flashpoint. I haven't had a chance yet to try relogging the game, restarting the pc, etc. Just wanted to put it ou there. I haven't seen any other post with the same issue, after all.
  9. Tested with multiple PTS character copies of different types, including Dark/Light standing. Some characters seemed to bug out when choosing 1st and 2nd combat style, with no clear cause. Problem 1: Some characters didn’t get to choose a 1st combat style, but were immediately given the choice for a 2nd combat style. Problem 2: (As a Dark Side Sage) choosing sage as 1st combat style and sorceror as 2nd combat style, the abilities are stuck to sage, with no possibility to switch to sorceror. However, in the same window there was the option to click on the Dark Side ‘mission objective’ (or whatever it was called) to play sage with dark side abilities (like sorceror I suppose). Clicking this reactivated the combat style mission, but upon entering the meditation there was no spirit, and no conversation option to change the primary combat style to dark/sith. Problem 3: Switching between combat styles resets the quickbars, making it preferable to stick to only one combat style (kind of like it is now), and not switch to the other so often, or to not choose a 2nd combat style at all. Various issues (good and bad) and suggestions: Class trainers seem almost unnecessary, as most abilities seem to be learned automatically. For speeder piloting it did seem necessary to use it (easy for those with a portable trainer). It might be better to enable ‘automatic training’ for more skills and abilities, although keeping trainers on the planets and the fleet may be a smart thing to do. Perhaps it may be a good idea to do the same with Crew Skills. Keep the Crew Skills trainers in place if you want to learn a new skill (for the first time, or after ditching an earlier skill). But once you’ve learned the crew skill, it might be a good idea to enable automatic learning of new schematics (for free), like class abilities in 7.0. This would make it much easier to work on levelling the crew skills while you’re working on your missions on a planet, without the need to visit the crew skill trainer at the home base or on the Fleet. The new character window looks very very nice! Gorgeous and easy to use, partly because of the way the regular inventory window is implemented into the character window, while still being able to open the inventory as a standalone window.
  10. Extra rooms to make up for the new deco cap, sounds like a great idea. Preferably underwater, or an extra surface-level branch, that you can reach with an elevator button/terminal, perhaps. That would take minimal effort, I think. The argument used by some, that you don't need 100% on decorating, is an invalid argument. That's not what the issue is about. It's the fact that Manaan is one of the smallest strongholds, and now needs even more hooks filled for 100% completion than the much larger Yavin stronghold. Removing the cap on Manaan would be one option, but perhaps just making Manaan larger would be a better idea?
  11. In all strongholds there are many empty areas which could've had hooks on them. I realize that the intro movie, which has your toon walk through the stronghold, would otherwise have your character ghostwalk through those decorations, which looks awful. However, I still think they should've increased the amount of hooks that CAN be decorated, instead of increasing the amount of hooks that MUST be decorated to get to 100% completion. It'd probably be for the best to add more ground hooks, even if they're in the middle of the hallway, perhaps also some more wall hooks; and also add more ceiling hooks, even though the decorations might clip a little with the architecture. In fact, the clipping is sometimes preferable to a seemingly 'hovering' decoration. Players would probably be served by giving them more freedom to decorate the strongholds the way they want, and one way is to add more hook 'locations'.
  12. "Maybe this could even allow you to re-implement Lightsaber stances the way the original devs envisioned them (since there are no stances anymore, you could re-implement them as cosmetic stances) where the animations would change depending on the stance used." Thought of this myself for some time... It's like having my dark sided Jedi Guardian assume the stance of a Sith Warrior when he has his saber drawn. And, just like a Juggernaut could perhaps even be performing the combat animations. I think it could be possible, and would be a nice way to enable some sort of 'class change' for a character. Not by actually enabling a player to switch between base classes, let alone advanced classes, which I still think should be made possible. But it would at least be another QoL aspect for many of us?
  13. Some time ago, concerning the Galactic Command system, it's been said that lots of stuff should be available to everyone, but that you'd simply need more time to acquire the ranks, perks and other rewards from it, if you didn't take part in a lot of the group related stuff, like Ops, HM FPs and PvP. Taking a ride on that train of thought, that should also apply to decorations, which used to be available through different means; also to the few soloists out in the field. A solitary player could still get decorations from, say, Flashpoints, although at a lower rate, before they introduced Level Sync. This change, which in my opinion is a very nice addition to the game, made that impossible, though. The datacron decorations used to drop, mainly in Heroic areas, and were a good way for soloists to get at least SOME decorations, but since the drop rate has become worse than the Czerka Crate-o-Matic's drop rate, that too has become a grind that you wouldn't wish upon your worst enemy. Achievements were another source, but those too barely seem to reward decorations anymore... The main source to acquire decorations has become: The Cartel Market, Decoration packs, or the shipments containing gear, companion gifts, jawa junk and some decorations... IF you're lucky. Many decorations you can get directly, like from a vendor in-game, are mostly available using a certain currency, like the certificates that drop from, you guessed it, Cartel Packs. Therefore, I'd highly suggest to BioWare to take the aforementioned solutions into consideration, and not to forget that SWTOR is a GAME, and games are supposed to be fun for those who take part in it. I'm not saying that everything should be readily available to everyone by a snap of the fingers, but you'd garner a lot more enthusiasm from the player base, if you increased the chances for players to acquire decorations. And the best way to do that, is to increase the ways in which people can acquire them.
  14. I've noticed it especially in the following situation: When I start the game, in windows mode as always, the window is slightly off centre. Then I click the button to 'maximize screen' in the top right. If I do it directly after the game has started, it usually fixes the problem, and afterwards I can 'alt+tab' as often as I want. If I wait a little longer, and then maximize the screen, it crashes the game.
  15. Mods: no Dye: yes A black/black dye... and it's missing I want it back :'(
